I am writing to you from Brazil. I'm a math lover and I see that the main problem is showing the meanings of math.
a very precise and understandable explanation... thanks
14 minutes? What is the domain? The domain is the range where the function exists. So 2x+1 different from 0 , so x different from -1/2. So the domain is all the real numbers but -1/2. Too much talking
So what happens when you graph this function? You get two hyperboloid curves where x= minus 0.5 is the asymptote: the two curves have branches that approach but never reach an x- value of -0.5.

what about 3/x+5/x-2=4? domain

This is equivalent to 4x^2+12x-43=0. The domain is all real numbers.
All real numbers except -1/2
f (x) = (3x - 5) ÷ (2x + 1)
2x + 1 = 0 2x = -1 x = -0.5
Too much talking about his stupid course
