This is the best video I have seen of Falling Water. You did not add music or commentary, but left us to look at the detailed footage you took. Having been to Falling Water you brought back memories of the smaller things, the details, the materials, etc., especially in the interiors. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I am so in love with Frank Lloyd Wright's design schemes-I don't even know what to say-he was ahead of his time and amazingly talented! God bless him-may his art live on forever. We are a better world for it.

Wright 1936 Fallingwater video Interesting seeing it in a steady rain. Nice combination of video, stills, fall and winter seasons. Saw virtually every angle done at relaxed pace so that one could "wallow" in space and absorb the ambience without being rushed. Thanks for that. I finally was able to visit in the fall of '13 with my wife and high school children. Never thought I would be in that part of the country to experience this masterpiece. It's really out of the way, but worth it. Also interesting is that this world famous building does not support much of a local art/dining/cultural/related shopping etc tourist area. Literally zero good food options for after the site visit. The best menu in the whole area is the restaurant/cafeteria in the visitor center which also includes an excellent gift/book shop. DINE THERE. Pack snacks. Also, a MUST SEE nearby is an extensive tour available of a privately owned residence (British collector) designed by FLW in the '50s. FABULOUS expansive site and glorious distant vistas. Totally original with owner's personal art and objects (mid-century). Very intimate and rich ambience. It's called Kentuck Nob. You'll be glad you took the time. One can easily see both the same day. Do this first then Fallingwater. AND you must walk the extensive property! Lots of major contemporary large scale sculptures and peaceful landscaping. And totally unexpected, THREE large vertical concrete panels dramatically placed from the Berlin wall with the actual preserved graffiti of the time the wall was being dismantled. Have a great visit! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes!

You can just see the water destroying the house. Does Wright have overhang downspouts draining on the patios below?

Looks like the cantilevers are sagging on here. I'd be very worried

The cantilevers where reinforced around 2012 but they couldn't lift them because all of the windows and walls would collapse. The building sags about 7".
