F**K ATTENTION & Work Harder - 1 Hour of David Goggins

F**K ATTENTION Work Harder - 1 Hour of David Goggins
Seeking attention is a waste of your energy, and you should know better. David Goggins never spends a moment worrying about others' opinions of him.
He chooses to grind in silence, pushing himself harder than anyone else. There's simply no other way.
Staying in your comfort zone guarantees you'll never reach your full potential, never truly test your limits.
Think getting up early and going to bed late will wear you down? On the contrary, it will make you into something tougher, more resilient, mentally tougher just like David Goggins.
The path to greatness is relentless, that means grind never ends, getting after it never stops and that is why you always need to STAY HARD!

After a near death knee infection over 5 years ago. My medical insurance rejected my claims which left me of thousands of dollars in debt. I went into a depression and became an alcoholic and tried to pay off the debt using short-cuts like gambling, lottery and crypto trading which made my situation worse. In May 2021, decided to quit drinking, pay off my debts and became a long-distance runner. This week, I have officially paid off my debt to both hospitals and have ran over one thousand kilometers in 2024 with the same leg that was nearly amputated years ago. I think I'm the toughest person i know.

You know one of the things that bothers me the most. Is watching a young man in a management position who tells me how distraught he was about Kobi Bryant’s death and how he was his hero and role model and yet would show up late for work every day, and be so incredibly dysfunctional. In never occurred to him even once to try and emulate the discipline required to succeed.

I discovered Goggins in January of 2020 when I listened to his audiobook. At that time I had been at my job for 12 years. It’s a very physically demanding job that most guys don’t stick around for more than a year. Coincidentally, 2020 was one of the most productive years I’ve had! And ever since then, this 38 year old is doing more production than all these guys in their early 20s! 💪🏼

I’ve been a therapist for 25 years. I’m good but I have always been satisfied with the vicarious validation of walking other people through their early trauma and helping other people understand how programmed we all are to be in that reality… and then how to leave it and create a reality that they don’t even know is possible. But i have been under the false ceiling myself. Unable to break out of my own false reality and take the action to be my authentic best self. This is the most important information I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot), related to overcoming the wounded self. I listen to a lot of stuff, i have a lot of experience, i know a lot. All of the psychological theory information means nothing if it is not applied to the self and the ACTIONS are not taken. I am in the process of trying to develop a habit of action in my life so i am not one of those people who leave this world never having truly invested in themselves. I will be making sure to keep this alive in myself and I will be referring a lot of people to your work. Thank you brother! ❤

Hey man, after reading this i wanted to share a little with you, I hope you don't mind. I'm 23, have severe depression for about 10 years, around 2 years ago I realized I'm addicted to porn and been trying to quit since. I'm currently 20 days no engagement on PMO (porn masturbating orgasm) and I plan to leave this shit behind forever. Because of this and depression, for years couldn't get out of bed, days with no sunlight, days without showering and even eating, couldn't work or go to college, but now it's time to change. As I rewire my brain and train my body I'll try to be the best as I can, and I'm thinking about doing a psychology major, so i can understand myself better and help other people like me, so I wanted to ask you: do you have any advice for me trying to pursue this career? Do you think it's a good idea? Since you have been a psychologist for as long as I'm alive, any advice would be really appreciated.

Amazing!! That’s admirable ! Keep it up! For you! And your peace and health👏🏽 God bless and thank you for your service ! I’m out for a morning run right now . I couldn’t sleep so got up and began my day. Training for my first half marathon in Denver, Colorado. I’m from California. I had a setback with a sprained injury last month and just getting back to training. May 19 is my run. My current goal is just participating but the ultimate goal would be at the very least finish it within the time limit of 3hrs 3:30 mins . If less than that I’d be quite amazed! My avg mile currently is about 14 mins. for me is the mental training to keep pushing and gaining training miles even most when I don’t want to..that’s my pain. Anyways , here listening to David’s journey ready to pass every of my limits ! LFGoooo!!

I agree you sometimes have to leave the old you behind in order to become the person you always wanted to be. Because, the old you would never be able to keep up. Self reflection is important, you got to look back sometimes to remind yourself of how far you have come and then look forward to see where you want to be.

I live in a dungeon every single day. Not a day goes by yet. I do not go back to the dark roof which is The Body Shop. The Body Shop is my body, my mind, my soul. I have to go back in the darkness be cause that's what makes me who I am. That's what makes me cry when I have to go out in the world and face it. And understand that no matter what I do or how I do it, the people will still judge me. So I came to a point to where you know what I don't care what people think. But at the same time I'm gonna prove to everybody. That I'm gonna be that person. I'm gonna be the baddest man on this planet. You know, but you cannot stop me. Because when you favorite by God and you got garden, you you can do anything. Anything so never give up , never give up and keep pushing like my boy davis said stay hard

I could say that I am David Goggins too, probably we all are. I have been trying to take the demons of the past, out of the closet where I hide them and they are scarry and still hurt me. You have to find out from where is coming your pain and insecurities, see the truth and it will make you free. As he said, you blame others till you find out they had worst time than you, you see the missery of those that hurted you and then you forgive.

He is one of these people, like Peterson for example, who emphasise merit, effort and personal responsibility. It’s common sense but it goes completely against the woke ideology which encourages people to blame their misery on the white patriarchy. “It’s not your fault and working hard won’t help you, your issues are due to the white heterosexual male”.

This. What he says. This is it. Fuck everything. Your heart is you teacher and your heart never breaks unless you think it can break. Be yourself. Be you and nothing else. We are made in the image of god. So why are we so much less than an god. Fuck it I might not be a god but I be the second best. Better than the devil. More divine than an angel. I come from earth better said the universe so I will be a universe. A creation of the divine, powerfull, beautifull, loving and divine.

Yesterday my vns magnets that help my epilepsy where turned , yes it hurt the first time but I slipped my vns again. I realised when use the magnet it's going to hurts but it's for seconds but hopefully it will reduce the severity of a seizure, we will have to see if not emergency medication last night at midnight seizure and had self administration of emergency medication, it's going to take time for the vns magnet to control the seizure but I will battle the pain. I'm prepared for seconds pain to stop the seizure but if not then emergency medication

Just found you for the first time. I felt energized and inspired but typically motivational speakers are full of crap. You are different and real. Now, I do think you're beating yourself up but if that helps you get where you want to be I guess it's okay. But at the same time you've discovered faith in yourself and that apparently has empowered you to achieve beyond the norm. One thing I'd suggest is that some people are underachievers but they are happy with what they have achieved. We need the heroes and we need the people who need the heroes. You one of those ultra achievers who give us hope, faith, and love. I'll also suggest that you look into Richard Schwartz therapy called, Internal family systems. IFS. Some of your self-talk is like the therapy but some of it is dysfunctional., even though it's led you to greatness. Best wishes David and hope to see you sometime and shake your hand. PS I looked for you online because some people told me I looked like you. You sure are a handsome dude.
