Interessante Parallelausfahrt mit dem IC in Stainaich-Irdning. Sehr schöne Aufnahmen von der Strecke bei neblig-feuchter Witterung. Ein Aufenthalt in Bad Ischl lohnt sich. Gibt's die Weiterfahrt nach Attnang-Puchheim auch zu sehen? Danke!

+rongenman Thanks very much! These buildings were for the so called "Lawinenposten" (= avalance guards). They would look out if there was danger of avalances or if one has already descented and may have interrupted the track. Because of thechnological progress, they are not needed any more though.

Wieso fahren auf dieser Strecke Güterzüge mit Dieselloks (z.B. in Bad Aussee)? Oder wird mit der 2016 der Verschub besorgt?

+Dieter Schroers Einige Anschlussgleise, oder so ziemlich alle eigentlich, sind nicht elektrifiziert. Es gibt aber dort durchaus auch Güterverkehr mit E-Loks.

+Felix Fischer Vielen Dank für die Info! In Deutschland beobachtet man häufig, dass Güterzüge von privaten Bahnbetreibern mehrere hundert Kilometer mit Dieselloks über vollständig elektrifizierte Strecken fahren. Daher habe ich die Frage gestellt. LG aus Köln

Das stimmt - war ein Glücksfall dass da die damals am Besten aussehende 42er zufällig mit aufs Band kam.
