Foxx Flay agreed! With that being said I never spent 1second in a jail or prison but unfortunately growing up in the hood for say I had to defend myself way to many times from my black brothers cause they tried you way to often! So to the point of if we unify cause we way to much alike and or around one another by the systems design we could be a stronger people than killing each other off as the system prefers that’s what I Hope any brother or sister listening to the message understand UNITY and proper justice is it. I’m Puerto Rican but I see to much opresión in modern times towards all Hispanics and primarily anything thats from south of the boarder! That’s speaking to both blacks and Puerto Rican’s! One blacks have been through to much human injustice to not have compassion and we Puerto Rican’s are probably the luckiest humans to exists as we are American citizens both or either born here in the US and or the mother Island of PR! Black and brown should always be 1 and any predators should be taken care even if it’s your main mans!

Latin Kings are structured I guess that's just every Spanish gang. Out here in the California, the Mexicans was the first structured gang in prison. The Aryan Brotherhood seen how they structure and followed. The Black's refuse to unite in prison. I'm a crip & I thought all Crips stick together on the yard I served 5 years in Folsom. It's 1 of the deadliest prisons in Cali. When I got in, all Crips are separated, we got Compton Crips on one side and Long Beach gangs on another side cuz both of those cities refuse to follow Los Angeles politics so they created there own. Then any Neighborhood Crip card is separated from all the Gangstas Crip card cuz they hate each other. The list goes on. My point is why Black's segregate themselves, it should just be all Black's together under 1 card but nope the bloods and piru we all segrated and the bloods here hate bloods that join UBN card in prison they consider them sellouts for not being able to survive on there own. That's why the Mexicans run shit here.

@M Easy: I honestly don’t believe the interviewers were telling the truth about their line of reasoning, I think Pastors question threw them off a bit, that’s why when G Money responded, it seemed more like a freestyle then anything solid which would have been the case if it was actually a plan, I think they decided to interview these type of people as the opportunity presented itself along the way. Initially, it was probably for the views and later on they just happened to go with the flow as it ended up taken on a life of its own. I’m not too crazy about them and how they move, but I can’t deny the fact that the people who they bring up is worth every second of their antics.

@@righteousbrother9402 I agree. G money especially was caught off guard. Im not sure why though. It was only a matter of time before someone asked them what their purpose was for the interviews. It definitely took on a life of its own. Good and bad. I guess it just depends on the viewer and what they want to take from it. Even the Bloods interviews, you can see a lot of pain and trauma. From the first interview, I knew I respected the quiet OG @bennypastor. We don't all glorify the war stories but respect the stories of individuals who stood strong and upheld their code, by any means necessary. The answer to the purpose of your story is to show others that you don't have to fold. You will survive the hardship and come out on top. Even have to admit that I was disappointed to hear the bloods say that they were predators and still used the "brotherly love". Jamaica salutes the kings

But when they started that here in NY especially, they became a gang that shouldn’t have been, and when they started it on the street, it got really crazy and the supposed leaders were “blessing” females by making them have sex with them. I grew up around that era and I try to teach my daughter. That anybody could do wrong you could throw a brick and break a person's window. you can walk to somebody that you don't know an easily knock them out, but it takes a true individual to do good things, honest things for other people. Like he said wake up early and work for your family. feed the poor, help those that can't help themselves. Those things are difficult to do sometimes. these are the true individuals that should be acknowledged and honored, humble people, they will have your back when nobody's around.

What an ending. This segment of the podcast put a great deal from the previous episodes in perspective. The brothers are all possibly suffering (or healing) PTSD. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is not frequently mentioned in the context of gang warfare in a prison reality but the way it has been explained to me, if there is one theme I pulled from watching the Soul B, NY Bloods, Correctional Officer and Latin King episodes is that anyone involved in the prison industrial complex is managing a version of PTSD that if left untreated infects the society they participate in or influence. Thanks Flip & G for providing the platform & special thank you to the men that provided the lessons in the form of their lived experiences.

Great interview!!! Love it when men who truly have been through the s%÷# come out as better men and are willing to admit their faults and wanna show the youth that there are different alternatives. Salute to some real ones and great content!!!!!! ✌✌✌✌
