Wow! What I really got a kick out of was the pull up to altitude, rolling to reverse heading and snapping to rock steady level flight. That Super Hornet must be a pilots dream to fly!
Alex... Looks like the Abe Lincoln this time. Nice! Love your endless cross checks, head on a swivel. Never get tired of seeing Angels' Wings, or your precision flying. Please keep your videos coming. NO commentary or music required. Your unedited videos speak volumes... You make all us old retired farts proud. Fly safe brother! :) Randy "C-17A"
I'm a Navy wife. My husband retired many moons ago, lol. He and his buddy, Donnie Cochran (of Blue Angels fame) went through OCS and flight training together. Love watching you and all you stand for! Have a very safe and blessed flight!
Straight up situational awareness at its best. Even without a single word said your whole vibe spoke volumes. Great video
Beautiful. Really nice to watch the interaction with the deck crew to effect the launch. Truly a team effort.
I’m leaving A School soon and I’ll be launching and trapping aircraft out in the fleet. I’m always amazed at the incredible skill you pilots have perform this job. I’m absolutely looking forward to working with everyone!
I’m imagining my son flies the F18E the way you do. He’s currently with USS 76 carrier. Thanks for posting this Alex.

These are great. Hope you have another Q&A soon too. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us
Thanks for taking us on the ride with you! Amazing footage!
I was a crew chief on the A-10 in the AF and even though you’re Navy, this brings back great memories. Best 8 years of my life. Thank you for sharing!
Man I love your videos. The preparation, the anticipation and the execution. Very cool, keep them coming!

Your unedited videos are just the best. Raw footage like this really highlights the care and attention you need to have, as well as the insane amount of stuff thats going on at the same time on a carrier deck. Love it, keep it up. Literally ;-)
Epic footage! Seeing fighter-jets takeoff and land, especially with a inside or close footage is amazing.
I grew up watching A-4s, A-7s, A-6s, F-4s & F-14s doing training( Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility [AFWTF]) were I live. Felt the bombs dropping. But its cool now to watch on videos what I saw from the distance: take off, wave off or TAG. Thank you for all your sacrifice and endurance. God Bless You All!
From an infantryman to a pilot, we love guys like you sir! 🫡
Fantastic! Thank you for the work you do.
I was missing your videos, thank you Alex!
arguably the best looking fighter pilot on the west coast.
Cool. Love the eyes of concentration immediately after the cat launch, and then they get a little chiller vibe. Love seeing the vape of the wings!
Very cool Alex! Being a plankowner on the Lincoln, I always enjoy seeing her in videos like this!
Thank you for your service. What a ride!
Love the g mist on the horizontal stabs as you pull into the vertical!! Would make a very cool pic to hang on the wall!
You guys are amazing. I wish I had the mental capacity to remember all that you pilots do. Thank you, thank you for the videos. If that was me, I would still be in training and I'm 73. 😁
Thanks for your service
Nice to see you back
He never blinks !!!!!……he is constantly monitoring everything 😮
Thank you for the awesome ride along👍
Soooo sick. Thanks for posting.
This is stuff we never get to see...Awesome man !
Phenomenal work, Alex! Subscribed.
Thank you for your service so much
Great content as always - Keep it coming - Interested in your GA stuff too.
Flying over body of water. Whew that’s an amazing feeling at that attitude.
Looks like a very serious and exciting rush all into one.
This is cool. My uncle was a fighter pilot.. in the 80s. He was stationed in Okinawa and ended up in Corpus Christi. When he was LT Commander I still remember getting to check out some of the planes on base. I have pics of me at 12 in the cockpit of a plane on base. I still have his US Navy blue bomber jacket from the 80s..My son wears it now :). Cool video.
Love these raw videos!
This to dentistry! However both make my Pa28a in the mountains feel a bit dull. Just your constant scanning of instruments and all the procedures so interesting thanks for posting.

Yep, many high performing Navy folks go on to medical careers. An intel colleague is now a MD.
i love your job bro
Great stuff. Well done!
Nice flying! Flew with the RAF. I want a CF-18 for Christmas! CAVU skies to all service aviators.
This is great footage 👍 🇬🇧 !
As an Army aviator I will say the Navy/Marine aviators are the best. Landing on a postage stamp in the middle of the ocean in heavy weather takes the best.
My guy is ripping in it in the Hornet! Good shit Sir! 👏🏼🔥💪🏼🇺🇸
You got to that OPSEC distance really quick!
Thank you for your service
Never get tired of that stuff !
Well done comrade, carry on
Looks awesome!
These guys are the BEST.
Awesome , Thanks A.B.😊
🇬🇧Great job there. Respect, sir.
I could watch this all day … please never change the no music no talking style. We love to know how it sounds and looks from your POV. Background music is the most annoying thing ever and thank you for not adding it!
To all of you on this ship . And to everyone of you American Military personal around the world. In the United States of America some people forgets what are military personnel, does each and every day 24-7 day or night for the people of the United States of America. Some could careless. But their are a few of us appreciate you each and every day. Thanking God for another day and the military for freedom. Salute to you sir. I'm not a veteran but DAMN all of you are BADASS. Thank you men and women. 👏👏👏🇺🇸

I love your videos. Hornet is pure ASMR.
ya might want to lower the visor so you avoid getting hit in the eyes with FOD on the cat shot. We always launched visor down, clear visors at night (F14 land). My father used to pull on instruments to ensure they were anchored down. Maintainers may have missed it. (A4/AD land)
Nice vid, love those unedited ones....
Oh my gosh. Love this Prandtl-Glauert effect.
Enjoyed....never realized how far back those wings are from you. Take Care...ty
Skip Bowman of NR fame? Thanks for posting this. I was nuke subs but I find this stuff very interesting. Ward Carroll, etc. Keep posting these. Good flying shipmate.
Thank Dear God for our pilots and the supporting crew members that give America a shield of protection! 🙏
I love your videos👍. a video about a night flight would be interesting.
Wow, in seemingly less than 15 seconds you went from flying just above the ocean surface to high above the clouds.
My mom told me when I got my pilot wings: “Everyone admires a military pilot, it’s now up to you to live up to their expectations.”

You can just see you smile when you salute just before launch! Amazing footage
👍👍👍Fantastic
Just Awesome.
That was awesome
Merci pour ce partage 👍 impressionnant 😃
So amazing
Nice!
Looks like another beautiful day in the office. FLY NAVY!
I kept trying to duck the sun while you were waiting. Certified armchair pilot reporting for duty!
Cool video

Actually, I've heard that carrier flight ops are boring as Hades.
AweSome
Keeping it to the deck long after takeoff was interesting. Evading the Cruisers or a tattle tales radar is all that came to mind, but then I remembered at sea the surface search radars would have pinged

CASE 1 departure is Port clearing turn from cat's 3 and 4 and Starboard clearing turn from cats 1 and 2. Turn back to parallel BRC (base recovery course) and fly at 300 kias at 500' to 7 NM from the boat. Clear Mother's airspace, and enjoy your mission.

@@RichterEtrenank oh yah there's that Navy knowledge that made it fun to be a Sailor. This former OS( never stationed on a Carrier)appreciates it much Thanks for taking the time

I can totally see myself doing this, piece of cake. WHAT THE FLOCK OF SHEEP, I HAVE TO LAND BACK ON THAT LITTLE BOAT. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SERVICE.
Nice
great🤙🤙
I toured the "Abe" in Long Beach when she was brand spank'n new, back in 1991. It was more fun than going to Disneyland!! Now she's over 30 years old, and still going strong.
First time here. That was so cool. I always dreamed of being a fight pilot but life had other plans for me. What was this flight? I notice that you are flying unarmed. Subscribed cause, well I am a guy and this is a fighter.
Yup that’s just how I da don it two!! Thanks for Serving!!😬
🔥🔥
Love his eyes. In a man's eyes there everything. He s supa cool, expert, ace flier. Me dad was too. !!!
Great Maverick
Real life Tom Cruise! Can't get better than that!
Jesus. The vapes on that pull up 😍
Nice! From of S.korea
You know that you have the absolute top job in the world! Period.
SWEEEET!
Wow.. VFA-103 🔥🔥
Great video I’m sure staying close to the water was part of the mission you appeared to be no higher than when you left the deck….
I was waiting for the breakdown and him catapulting.
Keep up the good work everyone 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
I was a jet jockey from 1974-1979. Brings back good memories. Just curious, though, about no flight gloves and flying with the visor up. My safety officer would be chewing me out for those infractions. Still have my pair of flight gloves with the ubiquitous hole in the right thumb from the trim tab button.

Same with us over here in the RAF. Mainly to protect in case of ejection/bird strikes. But it also saved the life of a mate when a peice of shrapnel came through the side of the aircraft and was stopped by the centre of his clear visor.

Gotta look cool for the camera ?
Odd seeing the pilots eyes, but also interesting to see the scan of the instruments.
