@@user-ic8nz4qo9s well depending who is the pilot. Because in America we spend a lot on training. Remember the machine will do it part but it's up to the individual to do his or her part.

I'm a trucker and I always pick load from Yuma, Arizona... that's the best spot you can see these jets roaring just above your head and I swear I always jump cause of excitement... I just love these jets... amazing...

The pre- flight and post-flight formalities were worth watching, even though it appeared to be quite lengthy , the discipline and decorum were maintained extremely well and turned out to be worth watching. The breath taking air show involving the lady pilot was indeed worth watchable. Kudos to the young pilot who was seen emerging out of the a F-35 A as a proud woman who was seen welcomed by a huge applause by the waiting crowd. A proud lady and her equally proud family members.

This is the second video I watched of this demonstration team. Different ground crew same pilot. I am trying to understand how they allow the number two Crew Chief to approach, stand and inspect the main landing gear tire for Foreign objects. I'd like to explain that after landing, the brakes produce 1500-plus degrees of heat, which takes a lot of time for that heat to dissipate. Their job guides state that approaching the main landing gear tire during recoveries means approaching from the front or rear. Because of the tremendous heat, there is a 45-degree cone shape on both sides of the main landing gear tire that if the tire explodes most of the debris will exit in that direction; thus, approach from the front or rear of the tire and don't stand within that cone shape. I was an FTD instructor for 4 years, and we had to weave some safety instructions for each hour of instruction. I have witnessed a tire explode from heat even after 30 minutes after the aircraft was recovered and the engine was shut down. I am trying to understand why the supervision or Quality Assurance has not dealt with this hazardous activity. Furthermore, I can't believe they removed that safety warning from the F-35 recovery job guide. All current and retired flight line maintainers can understand where my concerns come from, and if someone out there who is still on active duty works on the F-35 Demonstration Team, review the job guide, and if I am correct, please bring this to your supervision before someone gets injured or killed.

It's just beautiful,flying a wonderful machine.

Just getting to fly F-35 is a BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT by itself. Congrats to her. 👍😁

@N A This is an airshow not a scramble dumbass. The reason it took so long is because they have to wait for the other performers to finish up and for the runway to be clear. There was no rush because it's literally an airshow and every pilot takes their sweet time.

It's just a strange world we live in. For most of us folks --- who like to think we're living at the dawn of the Age of Quantum Computation --- we see this F-35 pilot and we say, "That's cool. She's excelling at some thing most of us could never do, would never be allowed to do. But she's our sister, aunt, girl friend, teacher, colleague," etc For some people, like the Taliban, however.... they see the pilot & immediately TWO things must immediately come to mind: "That is just not right! She is not supposed to do that; it's not permitted, in our way of life; our sacred, divine, holy law prohibits it." Or, "That's for them, stupid & ignorant people who don't know any thing important; but for us and our righteous women, we just don't allow that, for the love of our girls and women." Again, very, very strange world we live in, even at the second decade of the 21st century.

I am certainly impressed with this awesome video. I swell with pride and joy seeing this young woman fly this advanced aircraft. That was some serious use of afterburner. Other aircrafts usually don't use afterburner so much on airshown. Does the F-35 lack manouverability without afterburner?

That was incredible to watch the pilot perform her routine with such precision along with the grounds crew those are billion dollar fighter jets but please public just applauded them they are putting their life on the line for your country it's not a joke or something to make fun of with all the off the wall comments you should be ashamed of yourselves show some self respect if you have any left

@Alfred Churchill you have no clue what you’re talking about - basic shit like 4th Gen performance WITH their wing-mounted ordinance? Yeah you have no idea. The speeds you read represent clean aircraft with limited range and no missiles lol. Also situational awareness = survival in the modern battlefield. No 4th gen can even ENTER a contested battlespace without aircraft like this to clear the way. Fighters don’t need to go M2+, and those which can NEVER do. Stealth, situational awareness, sensor fusion, battlespace management… that’s how you win wars today. You’ve been watching too much top gun lol. Also this “slow lethargic” plane was the first to ever perform a STOVL takeoff, supersonic dash, and land vertically. AND it’s the size of a marble on radar? It’s sad you are unimpressed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

it is very nice that we see everything beside the flight in itself;it helps making everything very lively and realistic.The checking procedure is executed in a very robotic manner,kind of arty and modern unexpected ballet or happening;i enjoyed frankly this great vid!thanks!

In a visual air to air gun battle dogfight, nope su35 you destroy it over 90% of the time. That plane would be unstoppable, but with modern missles, computers and low radar signature combined with pilot training and combat experience of you pilots, I would take the f35a over the Russian su.

@@matthewmcnab322 You think stealth tech working against russian radar systems? It's not. It was soviet tech. When it was fully studied and antistealth tech was developed, KGB let usa spyes to seal some document about it. (on youtube you can find usa video about it) What for? To drop billions usa dollars for development to the end and building this jets with this coat. Stealth working against ONLY one-wave range radars, but russians radars working in 3 or more ranges. This jets (and 117, 22, B-2,21) will shine like a christmas tree on russians radar-monitors.

@@matthewmcnab322 So what we have: 1. Missles - Russia ahead (rocket systems) 2. Maneuverability - Russia ahead. 3. Invisible - parity 4. 2 engines (SU) agaist 1(F-35). If you hit 1 engine of SU - it can return on base by other. What F-35 will do in this situation? We all know. Catapult pilot.
