@@fwix771 yes I agree. But this way the spitfire had no chance. If he would have slowed down the turn fight he might have had a fighting chance. My prediction is that he would have to jinx an avoid couple first turn but then he would slowly start to win the turn fight and the F22 would have to resort to vertical fight.

Another mistake spitfire was making was constantly reversing and trying 1 circle, not realizing F-22 has more alpha than the spitfire

109 was always its match, yak-3 was way above spitfire.

In these scenarios where you have complete dominance. I think that changing it up and starting the fight in a full disadvantage would be more fun. I.e spit starts stabilized behind you at 300-500 m and then calls fight's on.

That F22 moves like a UFO. The way it turned on that first turn is so unnatural. If anyone had ever accidentally seen it, I'm sure it'd freak them out It doesn't have that normal "oversteer" like an old muscle car would if it's drifting around a corner, and how most jets move. It's just so smooth

A plane more than twice the size of the Spitfire just dancing around it. Incredible.

The camera shot from the Spitfire of the F-22 lurking behind it was TERRIFYING lmao. Like watching a dragon upon a bird.

I think it would be fun to watch because of the loud open-cockpit audio and sustained close ranges. However, even though the I-16 can effortlessly out-turn any jet, its weapons are puny. The F-22 could probably soak up all of its 7.62s and still win.

@@hardyr Still, 4x7.62 at 1800rpm mounted close to center line can be pretty effective. I wish DCS had one of the variants with 2x7.62+2x20.

@@Hornet135It's straightforward to get consistent centerline snapshots with aggressive lead pursuit, but it takes a number of passes to see any effect unless you get lucky.

the spitfire doesn't have sturdy flaps, they rip quite easily, around 150mph they come off.

There is no way you can beat Snoopy on his dog house in a F22. Thats a real ace.
