On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

As far as I'm aware, the J-20 is fairly stealthy, more than the Su-57, based on simulations from the front as long as the canards are not deflected. I don't know how the FCS works on the J-20, but it seems likely that they can be locked in place so as to reduce frontal RCS. It's more likely than not that the canards are there to enhance high altitude performance rather than maneuverability. It seems more like a stealth MiG-31 rather than an F-22 competitor what with its VLRAAMs and poor side aspect stealth but good front aspect stealth, meant to charge at and snipe high value targets.

In reality 4th gen and even 4+ fighters stand almost no chance against 5th gen fighters 1 on 1, because 5th fighters just had so many other methods to guide in for a kill beside active radar, and even completely ignoring stealth, 5th gen fighters still perform that much better at high subsonic and transonic than 4th gen fighters.

Yea if you look at a front on view it actually bulges outward so they can partially see down the sides of the jet its crazy. Doesnt beat the das on the f35 where they can look through the floor of the jet, but def amazing.

Old but gold: the F16 has been upgraded so heavily that it is still very much a frontline fighter. Same as the F15. If the fundamentals are good then you can keep them relevant by updating the equipment & weapons.

it still a 4 gen fighter. which mean the enemy can see you before you can see it, and they can choose to engage when it suit them or disengage without you knowing... all you can do is react if face against a 5 gen. however there isn't that many 5 gen around, so 4 gen fighter is still extremely valuable asset.

I remember Vividly when the F-15, F-16 and F-14 first flew. I was very young on the F-14 but remember its crash during testing. As soon as these aircraft flew, there were several companies making 1/72 models. I made all and promptly started playing with them. My YF-16 model was red white and blue. I went on to the Navy enlisted… Navy paid for College. Then I became an airline pilot. Never flew the F-16. Wish I could
