Read that comment so many times. It's not *actual* hooded. Let me explain she said semi hooded it's in the title. And may I add everyone's eyes are different. I'm assuming your eyes are similar to hers. Mine are more hooded. Still it's relevant and her tips are handy to me.

YOU ARE A LIFE SAVVERRR OMGGGG low-key started crying because all my life i could not wear winged liner because of my semi hooded eyes. It always looked awkward no matter what i did. This literally turns my whole makeup look around. I cannot thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!

Holy shabang that was literaly the BEST eyeliner tutorial I've ever seen for hooded eyes OMG

We have a pretty identical eye-shape. What really soothed me was the fact that we have identical little 'wrinkles', and they don't detract from the beauty of your eyes one bit. Hopefully that means other people aren't judging mine the way I thought they were.

I have watched about a million and one tutorials for hooded eyes on KZread and everyone basically just told me to make the wing thick and the line thin but my eyeliner always came out weird and I just gave up on wings. It's been TWO YEARS since I've even attempted winged liner because I always knew it wasn't going to look good and this worked PERFECTLY for my eyes. It's actually so funny because I've seen girls on Instagram with eyeliner like this and I always thought it was just personal preference. Never understood why they would want their liner to be shaped so strangely.. turns out they were all in on the secret, lol. Thank you so much!!! ❤

@@Marie-di5gl wow, my lid twin. It's not just eyeliner either, nothing works for me. My outer corners are actually much higher than the inner ones so my eyes should look upturned, except the fold droops so low it drags my eye down like I'm 96. I can "lift" my eyeshadow, but still look tired. You know how they say brighten the outer corner to erase natural shadows? but dang, I can't erase that deep long droopy fold.

I have fairly hooded lids. Most of the tutorials I’ve found never work. This was actually the only one that helped a lot. If liquid doesn’t work, try using gel. I find gel is a lot easier to manipulate for things like this.

best hooded eye tutorial. simple. easy. no tape no tricks just optical illusion of the liner. perfect!

you literally saved my life. i have a semi hooded eye and a severely hooded eye (sometimes the hood even covers my lash line). Avoiding having a thick line on the actual lash line gives me more lid space. The C shaped part looks super gothic and cute too!!

I did this last night after watching your video. It worked!!! My wings looked perfect and I felt like my old, confident self. I haven't been able to do wings since my lids started drooping (I'm 46) and just felt a bit defeated. Thank you for giving me back my wings. xxx

It's just a matter of a different type of wing for different eye types :)

I'm mixed race asian and no tutorial has been more enlightening for my eye shape than this thank you so much!

Finally! A hooded eye tutorial from someone who ACTUALLY has hooded eyes! Just tried the technique and it works great! I usually do the small wing but glad I now have an option for the bigger wing even if it looks a bit odd when I blink

I think these wings are called bat wings

I’m so thankful for this and I wish I found it sooner. I always thought that I was one of the rare people with odd eyes because when I did other hooded eyeliner tutorials my wings just did not turn out right, there was always that little piece of loose skin above my eye that would mess it up. These are the liners used: Kat Von D Tattoo and Ink liner "Trooper" Mac Cosmetics Liquid Last Liner "Point Black" and brush "263" L'Oréal Super Liner "Carbon Gloss"

FINALLY! I didn't know why I kept getting this issue with my eyeliner! and now I know why! I have semi hooded eyes! (cri)

Finally! I have semi hooded eyes and whenever I draw a wing it looks weird at the ends, I tried the 2nd trick before and it worked really well for me. Making the wing thicker than the rest is a good tip
