"Ey Irân" (Persian: ای ایران, pronounced [ʔej ʔiːˈɾɒːn] | lit. O Iran!) is an Iranian patriotic song that serves as the country's unofficial national anthem. The music was composed by Ruhollâh Xâleqi, and the lyrics were written by Hossein Gol-e-Golâb.

Being Indian i know this whole song , reason i heard it and i thought someone is trying to speak something in mine language and when i saw the subtitles 30 percent words our similar , for contexti don't know farsi but words like ahn , andisha , vatan man , dar , pyandeh are all Sanskrit words as well , love from india 🇮🇳♥️🇮🇷

Persian language was the official language of India before Great Britain's invasion of India for 650 years. That is why so many words are still similar. We love our Indian brothers and sisters.

@@Morkorio no bro North Indians are same people as parsi people , Sindhi, Punjabi and phadhi is almost 50percent similar words like parsi , words like shudh=pure , ahn = rock , man = me , Teh = deapth of river , rann = ground , Aryan = race , dar or dur = distance or how far , Mah = month , Roaz = Day , varsh = year . sabzi = vegetables , these words common words not some court language and all of these words i gave our also in Sanskrit as well as well as in my ,mother tongue that has no relation with Mughal rule ,

@@Morkorioalso peak of Mughal Empire was just 100 years under aurangzeb , but ,Persians used to call themselves Aryans for more then 2500 years , Cyrus on his grave printed I am Nasle= race Aryan and khune Haxamanish son of Haxamanish , its just the Arabic script we Indians don't understand otherwise there language is easy to understand and beautiful .

One more fact Avasta gram was again written in India by parsi priests but they were not able to find words equivalent to the avasta in the parso Arabic script so they used Sanskrit words instead , as avasta and Sanskrit were sister languages such old is our combined Aryan heritage . Funny how westerners think this is a pro-Shah or anti-Islamic Republic, but it was used in in Iran for all regimes, including briefly as the national anthem during the 1979 revolution

Yep, it was written in 1944 during Soviet occupation of Northern Iran. The main aim of the song are the invaders, not certainly the clergy nor the Shah

From what I know about Iran, their Shia Faith is almost a symbol of their Iranian identity and there really hasn't been a time in which Iranians were so secular they were hostile to religion.
