'Extremely Rare' 165-Year-Old Victorian Microscope | Antiques Roadshow

Ойын-сауық

All valuations were correct at the time of broadcast. When it was made, this microscope would have been at the height of Victorian manufacture. The owner was slightly disappointed to get it as a birthday present in 1973, but appreciates it more when he finds out how much it is worth! Hugh Scully and the experts from Antiques Roadshow take a look at some fantastic antiques and the history and stories surrounding them. This clip was filmed in Llanelli in 2000.
Welcome to the home of Antiques Roadshow on KZread. Here you'll find all the best clips from Britain's most popular antiques appraisal show. An entitled and ungrateful owner . Such a beautiful item would probably be worth £10,000 + today . I hope it is now in the hands of someone who appreciates it's rarity .

I think he planned on actually using it, so at the time he got it probably felt quite useless. I hope a prop master buys it and cleans it up so it can be used in movies or series set in the Victorian age.

@johnniethepom7545 Why is my reply to you being censored? Is this your channel? ... or is it just the usual why tee nonsense. In any case if another opposite opinion is somehow dangerous then it's more than pathetic to censor it !
