Aa കുഞ്ഞൻ റ്റാറ്റാ ഒക്കെ പോകുന്ന പോക്ക് കാണണം എൻ്റെ പൊന്നോ കിളി പാറും അമ്മാതിരി പോക്കാണ്.. അവിടെ ആകെ അവര് എൻജിൻ സൈഡ് ഓയിൽ break tire ഒക്കെ കൃത്യമായി ചെക്ക് ചെയ്തു ഓടിക്കും. അത് കൊണ്ട് വണ്ടി നല്ല performance. ഇവിടെ വണ്ടി വാങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ള പുതുമോദി മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളൂ.

Most North Indian states use Tata 1618 series which have 180+ hp, so they're really fast. While KSRTC uses mid series Tata buses (1512c) as here Tata is mainly deployed for city and inter-district travel. Whereas the Leyland used by KSRTC are top series (Viking) which are great for long distance travel. The top bus series of Tata is 1618c, which sadly our KSRTC doesn't prefer 🙃

Tata buses are good as long as they are maintained properly...The problem is they don't tolerate service lapses..unlike Leylands(BS3 and below as BS4 Fast passengers and super fasts with lot of ugly engine noise and rattling sounds are too common now so won't include BS4(... in the Bs6 scene i believe Eicher is the best as it has the VDEX-5 engine straight out from Volvo which are powerful yet more efficient than both AL and Tata. I think Tata buses are best suited for this service as they have better acceleration sacrificing on slower top speed rather than moderate acceleration and higher top speed of AL..because 80+ speeds doesn't matter in Kerala roads.

Tnstc സ്പീഡ് locked aanu. Setc ഒക്കെ. അവരുടെ drivers തന്നെ praanth പിടിച്ചാണ് aa വണ്ടി ഓടിക്കുന്നത്. ഒച്ച് ഇഴയുന്ന പോലെ ഇഴഞ്ഞു ഇഴഞ്ഞു പോകുന്ന ബസ്. പണ്ട് കൊട്ടാരക്കര നിന്ന് ചെന്നൈക്ക് എടുക്കുന്ന setc ബസ് ചെന്നൈ എത്തുന്പോൾ 8മണി ആവും.. അതെ സമയം 7അരക്ക് പുനലൂർ നിന്ന് എടുക്കുന്ന കല്ലട 7മണിയോടെ ചെന്നൈ എത്തും.

Setc ഡ്രൈവർ ഒക്കെ അടിപൊളി ആണ്.പക്ഷേ അവർ മൈലേജ് ഒക്കെ നോക്കി സ്പീഡ് ലോക്ക് ആണ്. പിന്നെ Leyland avark vendi പ്രത്യേകം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ വലിവ് തീരെ ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു വണ്ടി ആണ് എത്ര ആഞ്ഞ് ചവട്ടിയാലും 60മേലെ ബസ് പോകില്ല.

This is nothing but rash and dangerous driving. These buses and our roads are not fit for high speed cruising. These buses are a threat to both the passengers and commuters.

TATA buses are very effective in their initial torque/sudden accelaration and fuel efficiency. You can't see a Leyland lorry carrying raw timber. But they are famous for Break down. Leyland buses having slow accelaration in compared with TATA. But comfort of Leyland for travel and driving is not attained in TATA. Tata will suffer jerking while shifting gear to top gear also. Due to the very small front overhang steering of TATA is not stable as Leyland. At higher rpms also jerking is very prominent for TATA. But Leyland become more and more smooth at high rpms. So for long drives Leyland is most suitable. You cannot see any private bus running more than 250 km with Tata engine even though they are fuel efficient. Leyland is highly reliable. വഴിയില്‍ കിടത്തില്ല. But Tata is not like that. For mechanics and drivers also, Leyland 'Viking' is far better than Tata 1512 C
