Same here! When it was being shown on the zoom like video it looked more red like a burgundy but when Alexandra showed it when she got there you could really see the pink come through and it looked so good

I would paint the front of the sign, leaving the logo to shine through, also painting the cord, then you can't see the electric details.

I kept thinking she would at least paint it LOL it may be getting picky and the black certainly coordinates with all the other black but nothing I hate more than seeing chords LOL but the design is fantastic and it's definitely what she and her clients love so that's all that matters

ME ME ME it looked like a burgundy and really red but once Alexandra showed it I was like yup I love it, I can see the pink come through and now im obsessed I have pink caninets in my kitchen and I want that same berry on my floors. Im obsessed

This is just SO EXCITING to see the wonderful collaboration between you and your clients! The color palette is so sophisticated (much prefer the moss green chairs to the mustard option) and I LOVE that you are incorporating items they have used in their trade shows!!! Including the trade show pieces gives the space a sense of history and brings the story of their business into this space as much as their press does. “Chef’s Kiss” indeed!

Idea: A feminine office/youtube studio. I keep looking for inspiration but everything is kinda masculine and dark. Loved the makeover by the way! All the pink was perfect 🥰

I love how you guys give us a real look at the final reveal and how one side of the room works with another 🥰 The rugs probably need something underneath them to keep in place and not wrinkle (from my own experience) 💕

I looove how the pinks complement each other without looking like a 5-year-old room!!! looks sooo chic and the touches of green and black really elevate it!

Love raspberry color. Years ago I did my bathroom in raspberry with raspberry floral and raspberry rugs and towels. Loved it so much and 25 years later I still have those raspberry towels. And just moved again. My new bathroom is now pink.

I loved how the makeover turned out. In the beginning, I thought the pink was a little over the top. However, once the project was done, it looked spectacular. The only thing that I would do differently is to add a gallery wall above the potted fern in the lounge area. It feels a bit empty and needs something in my opinion.

Def recommend a uv film for that window that’s shining all that sun on those beauty products.

Your outfits were fire in this episode! They fit the retro vibes of the room and were so cute.

Alexandra you are beautiful inside and out, the way you help people to see their own potential is what is special about you! I’ve seen your story on Instagram and those types of comments need to stop. Why do people see someone doing good and have to try and pull them down! I would love to see some home offices that pull double or triple duty. Since the pandemic started, I've been working from an ikea table in our kids' playroom/guest room. I have a feeling there are a ton of people like me out there. My work will probably never go back to the office 5 days a week again. I'll be working from home at least a few days a week indefinitely. It would be nice if it felt more like my own space instead of me sharing with everyone

I later realized the floor in that room is actually a single color and it's the reflection of the black and white tile on the glass makes it look like Red on Red Tile! WOAH!

Oh my 🥳! I remember those ball earrings! 🤭 Love your retro look Alexandra! 💌. The arch needs your touch with the dowels to attach the shelves to the wall, (floating shelves). It's a stunning look I've seen in your videos. 👍 The black cord can be changed to a white one. If there was no storage for the desks, a glass top would look more sophisticated, ( re- purposed sliding door panel). I do realize this is a year old, and it just shows me how much I've learned from your videos, and learning to think outside of the box! Thank Sweet woman for sharing your journey with us! 💌

The space is soooo gorgeous, I am so obsessed with the couch and those barstools and alllll the arches in the space, so dreamyy! But I would try to put some anti-slip mats under the rugs though because they seem pretty light and could become a trip hazard.

This is so so gorgeous and totally your element. You can really tell how much excitement and love went into this. You crushed it! 😍 Just a small tip: if you’re going to use mdf as a tabletop, be sure to paint it and/or seal it. Mdf is extremely porous and will soak up just about anything you put on it😉

Hey Alexandra! Interior designer here. You did an amazing job in this! I don't know how far committed you are to the design process in terms of visualizing the entire thing, but if you do this without absolutely any 3D Modeling I gotta tell you you are impressive. A few things I do not like about the design are the placement of some objects and the office room's all-raspberry color is an eye-sore but overall you guys handled the design really well! Should have gone with lower hanging lights in that lounge area though.

Okay, you asked for requests on business makeovers. Here's my wish list: first off, I want a workshop. Not exactly the kind of work that Gram does, but similar - wood and stone carving, and furniture making. LOTS of dust, tools, needing to consider air and light quality, safety, awkward storage, project materials, good videography locations, final display backdrops, access to water (can't forget that!), security to guard the investment, and in amongst All the technical and logistical aspects - just pops of personality and fun. Of course, I don't expect you to remake Gram's shop into a feminine version, but hopefully your ideas will inspire me with where and how to include that part (since unfortunately you're stuck in Toronto and I'm on the Yucatan peninsula 😢 I miss you already team AG). Next, a street front access home office with signage and "branded" Street front design that ties in with the actual interior office, maybe a bit of window product display or sales counter/dutch door adaptable interface with clients on the street, and somehow camouflaged office equipment so it doesn't LOOK like an office when the sales counter is open to the public on the street. Next, a little sandwich or coffee shop. Efficient small space, multipurpose kitchen with durable professional equipment (and BTW I luv love how you always include links do I can find what I need at reasonable costs!). And an art studio for large scale projects, and maybe an art gallery. Last but not least - a stately , impressive, but NOT boring or dark and heavy Library, and a coordinated classroom/conference room. IF you choose to accept these mission impossibles (cue music 🎶), be sure to contact me! 😊 I can hardly wait

My dream space for you to decorate/redo is a nail salon. I would love to see a BoHo style boutique salon.

I wouldn't have chosen that rug but it does work. They make rug pads for this which are helpful not just aestetically but to prevent tripping and injuries.
