I've thought exactly the same! Why would you even put this horrible paper over it. 🤷‍♀️ if you use special protection for your wood it will last you years

Wow I've been watching so many budget kitchen makeovers that are literally all the same which is so yawn worthy... But yours is amazing! Such subtle differences that make it look like a real quality makeover and colour schemes I never thought of putting together 👌 I absolutely love it 😍 Totally surprised and totally subscribed now!

The new hardware reeaally made a big difference!

Love this!!!! Fun fact: the knobs on the stove come off if you pull them! Makes for easier cleaning 😁

Looks amazing!!! Just a tip to preserve your produce, Onions and potatoes should be stored separate from one another bc they cause sprouting when they’re next to each other!

Thang Nguyen There are little legs that are attached to the oven, which is heavy, so it isn’t as easy to put the tile underneath! If the legs weren’t there, I would’ve done it in a heartbeat 🙈

I used these tiles in my last apartment but when I moved out it left gross glue residue which I was unable to remove, cost me $150 of my deposit. Recommend you put thick paper or cardboard down and tile on top.

Great to see a small kitchen transformation and what a difference you made, absolutely beautiful.

The changes you made really give the room warmth and depth to the room. So beautiful and inspiring! I especially loved the pantry shelves.

I make poster board mock ups of pictures and tape them to the wall with painters tape. I think the back paper really highlights when there is a discrepancy between the amount of area between two items being off. I think that it gives me the opportunity to see how things will look before putting holes into the wall and you have the opportunity to reposition a few times. I think your kitchen makeover came out fabulous.

It is so nice to see a "small kitchen" makeover where the kitchen is actually SMALL! A little tip for the floor tiles--esp. if replacing carpet--clean the surface with plain rubbing alcohol and a rag. It will get dust otherwise missed and dries quickly. Also great for pulling up glued carpet underpadding. Thanks for the great ideas for a genuinely small kitchen!
