EXTREME Heat in Vietnam | Da Nang: Family Travel Adventure | Ba Na Hills, Hue, Marble Mountains

Join us on a family adventure in central Vietnam, such as the Marble Mountains, Ba Na Hills Da Nang, the Hai Van Pass and Hue Citadel. You'll be amazed by the stunning views, the rich history and the diverse culture of this region.
We discover the tunnels, caves and temples hidden within the Marble Mountains, and enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sea, we take a cable car ride to Ba Na Hills Da Nang, a resort complex that features a replica of a French village, a fantasy park and a golden bridge. We drive along the Hai Van Pass, one of the most scenic roads in Vietnam, which offers breath-taking views of the mountains and the coast. We stop at some viewpoints to admire the scenery and take photos.
Finally, we arrive at Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, where we visit the Hue Citadel, a complex of palaces, temples and fortifications that was the seat of the Nguyen dynasty.

Warm Vietnamese beaches have no crocodile because they are in the front of the BBQ restaurants, skinned body penetrated by a rotating rod above charcoal tied with metal wires. So impressive & heart warming.

The national bowl in Vietnam: Beef Pho is always gluten free. It costs around 5 times more in Australia.

Unlike Darwin, Da Nang has no crocodile hidden along the beach, they are on the tables with frogs & snakes. All yummy.

Another fantastic episode. I had to watch twice (the premiere and again today) as there was so much to see, listen to and note. Editing must've been a tough gig. Great to see you back 🎉

Thanks so much Donna, happy to be back! Love that you watched it twice 😂 It was a fun one to edit but also tricky 😂

AUD121/night is way too much, $21/night is closer to reasonable in Da Nang. My parents & spent AUD16.5/night for a triple room with a double bed plus a single bed at Plam Beach Hotel Nha Trang. AUD5.5 per person per night! Near waterfront, I can see the sea in an angle on balcony. Nobody use the pool. Bus stop at the door.

I think Vietnam was cold in the Ice Age.

Thanks for your travel videos. If you have a choice, travel Vietnam in their winter. Love Vietnam, the people, food, and history is amazing. Technology (mobile phones) have made travelling through Vietnam relatively easy now.

Thanks Mick, glad you're enjoying them! Yes, if we could have been in their winter we would have much preferred it lol. Vietnam is a great place to explore and absolutely agree, technology has made travel so much easier!

Does Vietnam has winter? Yes, Hanoi & further North really have winter. Dalat is always cooler than HCMC, Da Nang, Hue & etc.

I am sure Ayers Rock is hotter & trees are shorter than humans so basically no where to hide. 39°C & 10% humidity made me no sweat.

You'd be surprised actually. We have been to Uluru twice (January and November) and both hot, but not as humid making it more bearable (it actually rained during our Jan visit and it was freezing). & There are actually tall trees for shade, you should check out our Uluru episodes :)

After Vietnam 1 month, I climbed Ayers Rock just days before the ban so it was in draught already & then bushfire elsewhere became unstoppable. The path after gate to the top has neither tree nor drinking fountain & some people finished their lives on the way. Remote location, high temp & low humidity make blood thicker & less survivable. Tones of flies everywhere in Central Australia.

@@OverlandExposure NP Rangers told the crowds to bring 3L of water to climb then the queue was stopped when it was closer to 36°C. A few hours later after I had done even plus a almost 10km circle, some Rangers climbed up because some tourists could not come back.

I believe the weather after their Mid Autumn Festival is still over 30°C. Highlands or Mountains in SE Asia are cooler, but lack of people.
