Sea moss is delicious. In the Caribbean we make a drink with it by adding milk, (lactose free if you're like me) vanilla essence, bananas and some people add peanut butter. It's absolutely delicious. It's like a protein shake smoothie. It's a staple drink where I'm originally from

I’ve always grew on Sea Moss as a kid because it is very popular in the Jamaican culture. I’ve just started using Sea Moss again. I take 2 tablespoons daily. I even made my own natural hair remedy with Sea Moss as being one of my ingredients. It worked wonders before 1 months. I had issues with psoriasis for as long as I can remember & now it is gone. Nice video! I just put out a vid on how to make the Jamaican Purple Seamoss, a different type. Quick tip, the seamoss doesn't actually have collagen, a protein found in animals. It does have molecules inside there to help us build and create our own collagen once we take it in. Peace and love
I'm so glad you made a video about this with all the info. Now I feel more comfortable when it comes to ordering, you where the first person to talk about seamoss before it became this popular trend 💜💜

Cathye Cooper , have you seen hair growth from using it?
Learned about it from Markus Rothkranz. He has AMAZING recipes for it on his channel and he has a cook Book.
I bought some sea moss about a month ago and I am loving it. Thanks for the video.

ANU in the house! Yea man, seamoss is a staple for us and the wider caribbean. Homegrown, organic and healthy!
TFS have you considered adding aloe Vera juice instead of plain water....sounds like a win win 🤷🏽♀️

No but i'll have to look into that! Thanks!!!
You can also buy it in a can (Irish Moss) ready to drink. I don't remember if it has any additives but will check! Useful when I don't have time to do this type of process. Great video!

OK! Replying to my own comment. The Irish Moss in the can! I tried this product over 20+ years ago and just googled it. I will NOT be using it as it is full of sugar so I won't be drinking it. Guess I will have to just go back to boiling it like we do in Jamaica and save some to drink and try using it as a natural hair gel!
I would love the great benefits I hear you get from sea moss without all of the preparations !! I might have to find another way !! 🤔
Yes I mix sea moss and bladderwrack in my smoothies

Irish Moss and Linseed🇯🇲
Thanks my sister! Very informative!
In the Carribean it is mixed with flax Seeds! To make Irish moss
Sea moss is a power drink love it
Sooooo... did you use it as a wash-out or leave-in conditioner, as a hair gel, or were you taking it internally vs. externally? How did you use the sea moss to specifically benefit your hair?

I've been using it on my hair for the last 2 months and so far it's made mine shinier, my scalp no longer gets hella dandriff and my hair seems to be growing faster, but I haven't done a length check yet to compare. I use it as a mask on my skin and hair and I get it from electricseamoss.com (black owned biz). They have face masks but tbh i use it on my hair too lol cause all the ingredients are good for hair too

@@spreadpeace3993 how often do you put it in your hair?
Been loving sea moss! Save the soak water and add to blender... Sometimes I put a small (unsoaked, unblended strand) into smoothie, and it blends up fine.
I have made mine slightly different, adding almond milk and make a large smoothie glass out of it. Options to add an apple and banana and its really tasty. I dont add water. Good video!

Where is the proof that it contains sugar I've not been able to find it especially since it comes of the sea..the sea is salty. But just because I haven't found any evidence doesn't mean it's not out there.
I tried it but I wasn't consistent but after this video I will give it a second go$ thanks!

Thanks for watching Leah!
This was super helpful ❤️✨
I made an Irish sea moss hair gel with grapeseed oil, avocado oil, with rosemary, lavender and peppermint essential oils. My hair is now more coily than kinky. I think I will try taking it internally.
So are you applying the sea moss to your hair or taking it in smoothies only or both? How often do you consume it and then you said you make a gel after what you did can you show that process or did I confuse what you said?

You can use Sea Moss applied directly to your skin and hair. There are a couple of ways. For Skin: 1. Save the Spring Water from the 2nd rinse and use it as a toner for your skin. 2. You can add this to your bath For Hair: 1. You can use the water from the 2nd soak of your Sea Moss, put it in a spray bottle, and apply it to clean hair. Do Not Rinse. 2. You can use the gel and mix it in to a deep conditioner. 3. You can mix it with Fenugreek seeds and Flax seeds that have been soaked in water. It forms a gel when you soak them in water. You can also add some Olive Oil or Coconut Oil, and add some Aloe Vera and create a great hair treatment. Work it into your hair and leave it in for an hour. Rinse it out and then wash it. You can also add some Sea Moss to your Shampoo and Conditioner. Your hair will love it.
