The Escalade started very well. A little weak but overall very well.

You mentioned wind chill. Windchill has absolutely nothing to do with a vehicle starting or not. Windchill is not temperature. It is a factor in how fast an object cools to the actual temperature.

Those pad heaters and battery heaters are really good for cold days .

I have a block heater on my doge ram 1500 van hasn't been used yet just had a cold front not long ago started just fine got new tires and a new battery for it before winter hope your doing well

I run a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 gas job every winter and a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel and they start. Yes the diesel is cold but u cycle the key a couple times and it starts right up

the battery was dead on the dodge and the two fords i tested them afterwards they read 7volts thats to weak should be 12.6

U need to cycle the key a couple times on the dodge 2500 and the Powerstroke

Have you been using 10 W40 oil for your Chevy pickup? It always worked out in cold weather for us in Colorado

Try the block heaters on the diesels

Watching this thinking dang its cold all over right now. I live in rapid city.

I have the almost some truck you have there just it the 1500 and it is 2013 and almost 200k on it we are going be in very cold weather I hope it starts well

Can't exactly go anywhere with dead batteries? But you can depend on your gm trucks, though!

Wind chill is irrelevant.

Don't think the vehicles are maintained very well. All weak batteries and hard driving/ little maintenance.
