Out with the horses today in extreme winter cold. I am keeping the horses warm with blanketing, heated water, lots of hay and grain, and dry bedding. All great reasons to move to the sunny south! We have hospitals on every corner, avg snowfall of 0" yearly with few if any lows into single digits over a decade. LOL Come join us and abandon that God forsaken winter weather and extra work that goes with it!! Central Alabama is the place to be ... where we got down to 13° and it didn't kill my carrots and garlic ... thank you to pine straw mulch. Blessings!

They all get fed hay by the barn caretaker, so they got their hay shortly after this :)
