I'm currently rewatching all your videos as I find them extremly soothing in those stressful times. You're so relatable and I love how your apartment is stylish but not overly done so. Just recently found your channel and am very glad about it! I find it to be one of the very few that's so relatable AND inspiring at the same time! ❤ I love that you are showing real life and it's challenges in a small apartment in a big city. That is my life's reality also. Not a whole house with garden, office, oversized kitchen, "extra rooms" that are not even used, and more than one bathroom 😅 , as in so many other declutter vids. I literally JUST did this last week to my own closet. You did a fabulous job! I LOVE how good you are at identifying what serves you, finding a place for it, and discarding what doesn't. I tend to get in my own way when making those choices for myself. That donation pile was outstanding!

What an undertaking. It looks so nice ! My favorite is the little metal drawer stand with the mirror and sunglasses on top. I love that you were able to fit your dryer in there and I also loved that little dog print holding a wine glass. So cute. I can't believe how much stuff you got rid of. Crazy how much can fit in a space.

Your closet looks like a room! That I would hang out in! Love the packing your things to travel all together so they’re ready. Oh and if you really love those pants that keep coming back in circulation, you could fix the holes or have them fixed and keep on lovin em 😄.

YES! It looks amazing - like a little room all of it's own. I love the shelf with the mirror and lamp. It reminds of the small hiddey-holes I used to make as a child - when I tried to make a cupboard into my own secret room!

Carla I cleaned out my four bedroom closets last year and I was shocked/amazed at how much was crammed in them! They’re not big closets because my house is 100 years old. It felt awesome to get rid of so much extra.

The final reveal looks great! I really like the corner with the lamp, mirror and sunglasses. This motivated me to organize my closet, which I've been putting off for years.

I love everything about your closet. It looks like a mini upscale boutique. I really like your idea of the sunglass organizer and would like to find an organizer for sunglasses that I can hang on the wall. I recently did a huge closet declutter that was really overdue as I've minimized everything else already. I love clothes, so it was very challenging and easy for me to make excuses about why I shouldn't let something go even if I never wore it. Two things helped me though: 1. Using Pinterest to define my style and shopping my closet from that to determine my definite "yes" pieces, and 2. Since my Pinterest board ended up mostly neutrals, I decluttered all pieces that were not either neutral or were not in two non-neutral colors that I decided upon that I know look good on me. I sold a lot to Crossroads and sent the rest to ThredUP. My closet is not as minimal as yours, but I love everything in there, it all fits (on me, in my closet), and I can easily see everything. Getting dressed is so much fun now!

Looks so good! My favorite part about it is that you finally did it and you can breath a little bit easier now knowing it’s done! ❤️

Wow, you're quite the minimalist! One thing you might consider is a lace curtain for the window. Sun can bleach out the things you love. I love your sunglasses holder! Great job!

The result is beautiful! I noticed you had the same Red Riding Hood doll my grandmother bought when visiting Massachussetts in the 1980s! Hers is now in my bookshelf.

No, Carla, that is not lovely - that is Beautiful! Wow! I mean, you chose just the right music there for the big reveal after all that hard work. What a gorgeous closet you have and now your clothing, shoes and accessories are all organised you'll never have trouble finding anything again! Great job! I don't love the things in it so much as the way it all fits together. Really worth all that hard work for the result you got at the end of it.
