If you come to Chengdu, make sure to visit this Chinese street food market, found here:
Farmers Market Name: Supo Farmers Market, 苏坡农贸市场
I first found deep fried duck, cooked in a pressure deep frier! Then, right beside that street stall, there was Chinese fried intestines with tons of Sichuan chilies! We also ate some amazing and spicy Sichuan style wraps, some Sichuan spiced soybean starch jelly, and walked through the vegetable and meats area, perfect for picking up the ingredients needed to cook a ton of different Chinese recipes.
After visiting the market, we went to a famous Dan Dan noodle joint in a little alleyway of Chengdu, and tasted a bowl of Sichuan Dan Dan noodles and of course some spicy chili oil wontons! They were so amazingly delicious and fragrant!

HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

In fact, many foreigners do not understand Chinese people very well. The shopkeeper said he didn't accept his money, just out of courtesy and politeness. If the little brother insisted on paying them, the shopkeeper would be more happy. So, Chinese people like to talk in a roundabout way, which is very implicit. But this kind of roundabout is not intentional, in order not to embarrass the other party. From another point of view, we can think that many Chinese are friendly.

It says a lot about your personality having people remember you. I like how you take the time to talk to the cooks of the food you are eating. Sometimes it feels like the world is going at such a fast pace that we forget to chat to people. Even a smile can make someones day. Mum and Dad tell me that going to the supermarket takes twice as long with me because I stop and talk to the people who work at the supermarket. Now if I'm not well enough to go to the supermarket people ask my parents how I am going. I only manage to go out once or twice a week and that is normally a medical appointment and the supermarket so it's my opportunity to connect with people.

When you work with deep fryer you get used to putting your hands veg close to the oil. Especially battered fish you drop it in your fingers almost touch the oil everytime. It’s normal . In the kitchen .

Jase Strictland that one not the real roasted duck, if you go to beijing for the roasted duck, it properly costs 26 or more.

I realize that, please re read my post. I wrote that I've had roasted duck, but never had the deep fried. But I've also had Peking duck, roasted duck, stuffed duck, steamed duck, pan seared duck, Duck a l'orange, duck prosciutto, duck confit, duck in beurre rouge, duck pate and duck jerky. Deep fried duck is about the only way I've never had it. Duck in Bejing costs 26 USD? Lucky for me I have no desire to visit China! I can just simply stay home and eat the 26$ one here in Hawaii. I've been to Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia and India. But I have never had the desire to go to China. Personal preference, I guess you could say.

Peking Duck has been made to a premium dish in Peking, especially in nationally famous canteen like Quan Ju De, where costs 300RMB(nearly 40$). Normal people in Peking won't eat them. They are for tourists and those who want to have a try. They may try some cheaper one in normal canteen, where taste is fairly good.
