Then there'll be mud constantly accumulating on the glass and they'll have to continuosly clean. Imagine wipers cleaning mud off the glass, it isn't effective

Only buggies, ultra4 and a t1 trophy truck use ifs the rest use solid such as a bouncer or a rock crawler even in the ultra4 there is still alot of people using the solid axle
