    @@robojax I have a small problem. I need to use components that are compatible with Arduino. A position sensor (so I use a GPS module. This GPS module must be Adafruit Ultimate GPS Data Acquisition Module (GPS Included)). A position storage (with an SD card that must work with an SPI link). A bluetooth interface. A GUI to visualize the route (using an Android tablet that is compatible with a bluetooth module). you can advise me to use what as a component . because it's 3 components must be compatible with Arduino and an Android tablet IHM thanks to a Bluetooth module.

    Hi Robojax, how are you? Well, I try this code and I receive the data of GPS TX in Arduino UNO TX but when a upload the code the ARduino dont read nothing in serial. I use the reset and I confirm the receipt of the GPS data including tested and confirmed in the freenmea. What could be happening?

    Thank you for support. This project was to get the location. Using arduino you won't be able to direct a robot. Raspberry Pi is best choice for simple robot.     ..is there any chance that the RX pin is not working but we can get right NMEA data because in my case I m getting right NMEA DATA but when I m working with "while(gpsSerial.available()) "..command it's not working...can you please tell me what probably the error ..... Thanku

    The device gets data from RX and puts label. NMEA data you are getting is without location and time and other satellite data. so it is possible that your receiver is bad. Many thing could go wrong. Only you can find the fault if you compare it with another working module.

    what about we want to get signal from 2 gps? i mean, i have 2 gps and i want to get signals from them with 1 antenna which connecting to my pc. Is it possible that get signals from 2 gps with 1 antenna at the same time?

    I don't think you can use the same antenna for two GPS receiver. The antenna is active device, it has electronics and it communicates with receiver.

    Other than tell you to check the wiring and make sure you have not changed the code. I can't help. Please check my latest video on GPS kzread.info/dash/bejne/mpaG0tRqeMWqlps.html you might find is better. I am not sure.

    respected person, when i connect simple "TX" of Arduino to "TX" of GPS it shows the data on serial monitor. But when i upload the code and then connect "RX" of Arduino to "TX" of GPS then it shows noting on serial monitor. Please Help.

    Hi, for that you need to use Bluetooth with Arduino to send it to your mobile device. Then in your app, it should be able to read the data and display it on map.

    Hi, about 1 minuet to get satellite signal if you are in open space. If you are by the window, and signal is weak, it might take 3 minuets to get signal.

    If the code and wiring is correct and you are in open field, then your GPS module is bad. Try with another GPS module.

    after i connect the pins with rx and tx and the module blue led does not blink, but the numbers and letters still coming out from the COM4 serial monitor, am i missing anything?

    you are getting useless data without coordinate. You should be in a spot where satellite signal reaches you either close to a window facing South or in an open space where south portion of sky is visible.

    @@robojax okay i went outside and tried it for a few minutes, the only thing that came out is the red LED blinking, the blue LED doesnot. The GPRMC code does not appear, could be my gps sensor is faulty?

    did you check the baud rate? 9600 or whatever value you set? try this inside loop, just after loop() { Serial.println("Testing"); and see if it prints the text.

    do you use another Arduino or do you use serial monitor for another thing? if not then inside the setup() do you have Serial.begin(); please copy and past as if you type, upper or lower case letters, that will create problem.

    are you using it at the same time? if not you should not have issue. if you use it at the same time, just make sure the baud rate is the same and it should work.

    something is wrong. Either wiring is bad or GPS signal is not reaching the module.

    sorry I did not understand. GPS module is to receive GPS signal . To run a motor, you need motor driver module. These are two totally different things.

    Of course it will not work. Your gmap needs it in certain format. Check this page and see how it is displayed and change Arduino code for the format you need. www.gps-coordinates.net/

    first make sure you set the baud rate of serial monitor correctly. See this snipboard.io/y3pKwG.jpg nad then please used unchanged code first and then change the code.

    In Arduino we have a SD car module where you can save data. Get that module and make sure you can write to SD card. then the values that you print on the Serial monitor, save it on the SD card.

    This video was really informative sir. But I have a small confusion here. The GPS co-ordinates we get are something like 17.25963, 78.58463. Like somewhere between -90 to +90 Latitude and -180 to +180 Longitude. The values you are getting are in thousands... How can you justify this sir???

    to track a vehicle you will need a GSM transmitter (with SIM card) that can send SMS as location to you or send location to web server. this is a good project to do. But I got no time. Busy with full time job and part time Graduate studies.

    Hello, i connected my gps module with my esp8266 for the first time it worked but after that I'm not getting the latitude and longitude it's showing 0.000000 for both, even though led is blinking, I'm getting this problem, what's the solution for this??

    Hello, it might be that your location is not receiving signal. change your location if you did not change the code.

    @@robojax i tried at different locations for many minutes but also It's showing same, initially i got the signal even though I keep my device in the same place I'm not receiving the signal but the module is blinking

    if you are on open area and module has power, then something is wrong with the module.

    I don't remember what I said in the video but you don't need to access any other website. Just run the code and extract the location.

    Hello Robojax, I tried your code, but I am using the Arduino Mega 2560 and nothing is displayed. Could you indicate what to change in the code.     Because : 1-Wiring is incorrect 2-either you are indoor and your module can't see the sky above (not horizon) 3-Your module is dead.

    use WiFi or Ethernet module to send that over network to database or other purpose.

    how did you connect it? Did you connect it to 3.3V? you can't see anyting at serial monitor until it the LED shows blink and then solid. So if you have connected the wires incorrectly, it might be dead. Try it on another GPS module.

    incorrectly as in tx to tx, rx to rx would cause the board to burn because vcc and ground are always correct? no i connected to 5v, the led blinked once in red color and i never see it blinks again

    Are you close to window (facing south) where the device sees the sky? It need to receive the signal .

    GPS module doesn't sent data. It receives them and your arduino should display it. Check the wiring.

    I connected the tx and rx of gps to the tx and rx of Arduino(reversed). Used 3.3v of Arduino but the led of gps is not on and nothing is displaying in the monitor.

    No that will most probably destroy it. I read somewhere that the GPS module requires some time to start. How much time did it take for you?

    it depends how clear the path to sky is. Perhaps 30 seconds to 90 seconds.

    @@robojax so far I have uploaded the blink code and the arduino blinks normally, but when I connect connect all the wiring for the gps module nothing shows up on the serial monitor, and the gps does not light up either.

    Arduino $4 to $15 . GPS module $8 to $25 depending how fast you want them and where you buy them from. eBay, Amazon and aliExpress are the sources.
