Marriages must be considered a holy contract, and breach of that covenant ought to be considered a crime. I think this is the need of the hour. It's the duty of lawmakers to make sure that, because of one's impetuous partner, his or her innocent counterpart should not suffer. That's why I believe that adultery and extramarital affairs must be considered punishable offences because, by agreeing to marriage, they've accepted the restrictions that come with it in the first place. Otherwise, what's the use of marriage? Where is the sanctity of marriage? If someone doesn't want to get into the bond of marriage but wants to spend his life with his lover, then he or she is free to choose a live-in relationship as their option. By doing this, they'll not only avoid the sacrilege of marriage, but they'll also help in maintaining the sanctity of the institution of marriage. And they'll also be able to dodge the responsibilities that come with marriage. 🙏

No, this law is only for the benefit of women. Same like how according to Indian law, only a woman can be r*ped, and men can't be r*ped.
