Welcome.
In this video I am disassembling this Extol Industrial 2000W Heat Gun that has digital temperature control.
I've bought this Heat Gun few years ago around 60$ and I've been using it since then as a hobbyist. The tool comes with different attachments for plumbing and for scraping paint. Also you can use this tool for electronics. You can desolder smd, you can reflow graphic cards etc.
While I was disassembling it I was surprised that the heating core had good isolation, better than the other cheap heat guns that have only paper isolation (Mica Paper).
Important !!! :
Every heat gun after using it, either for short time or longer time u should cool it down with the lowest temperature setting for 30seconds to 1 minute.
The Cheaper Heat Guns that have only 2 setting temperaure controls, 1st around 350°C and 2nd around 550°C you need to find another way to cool it down, 350°C its very hot and the tool can be a fire hazard.

Hi! I like to buy this Extol heat gun. Do you recomend it or its better to buy some more premium/expencive one like the Bosch GHG 23-66? I will use it for car Paint Protective Film wrap. Thanks

Zdravo, neznam mnogu za boshot no e duplo ako ne i troduplo poskap nov, zavisi kolku mozes da si dozvolis da potrosis i kolku profesionalno ke se bavis so lepenjeto folii. Ovoj e nekoja klasa pokvaliteten od tie epten eftinite, jas go imam okolu 5 godini bez problemi go koristam kako hobi za elektronika ama se naogja i za drugi raboti. Posle sekoe koristenje go stavam na prvoto nivo 50°C da se oladi i so toa mislam deka se prodolzuva rabotniot vek na elektronikata i na motorceto sto duva kako ventilator vo fenot. Imam otvoreno i od markata ingco grejacot bese ponekvalitetno izraboten vo razlika so ovoj, elektronikata gore dole slicen kvalitet. Ostvam na tebe da odlucis pozdrav :)

@@NextCurrentDIY fala ti :) go zemav denes. Ne mi se davaa 12.000 za boschot. Ke vidime kako ke se pokaze. I vo dukjan mi kazaa nesto slicno... koga go gasam i palam stepenite progresivno da gi zgolemuvam. Vo interval od 30c. Fala ti uste ednash. Neznaev deka kanalov e na nash covek. Ke dzirnam bash da vidam dali ima uste nesto za mene. :) pozz

So I havent run into that kind of a problem, but I'll try to help you but need more informations. What brand is it , is it digital control with display or with rotary potentiometer. Check for burnt wires, heater coil , switch. Also if you can take a picture or video and sent it on Next Current Social Media (facebook,instagram or twitter) links in description. @@NextCurrentDIY HI THANKS TO ANSWER. it is digital control whit lcd display . and control with 4 knob temperature +,- and air+,-. brand is einhel RT-HA2000e. wires is ok termocopl is ok and heater coil and cheap coil is ok. problem is depended to board . which control temperature . first that is properly working then past 20-30 sec go to high temperature without press any key .!!and how much set high temperature this time become shorter and revers.can it depended to thermistor ?

@@ashkan2662 On the 1st pcb are there any blown electrolytic capacitors ? Also maybe try on the 2nd board where the display is to clean contacts of the buttons but do not touch the lcd display looks very fragile just clean around him where the buttons press on. Also clean and test the main sliding switch that has 1 and 2 function, low and high temp.
