Most probably will. Better to run a antivirus scan before you open to view the folders.

depending on the hard drive used, you will still need to have a reliable power source to the disk. if you're plugging in something like an ssd, it might not be needed but if you're plugging in a HDD, an external molex/sata power source will be needed to boot the disk

i got this same pos and it does work fine with ide drives but with all my sata drives just click and dont work

I have 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB, it isn't working.. I've tried the others but it won't let me detect using sata adapter.. But I've tried connecting the 3.5 divers directly to pc and they are still working.. Only adapters I can't seem to make them working..

This product sucks I had brought it my data backup was showing 12 hrs I left it unattended for 12hrs after 12hrs when I returned hard disk was not showing. I was luck my hard disk working fine. This one heats. If u are planning to use it for short time like 15min to 1hr go for it if you are planning to keep it connected & keep ur pc/laptop turned on for 24/7 not recommended by me.

I donr recommend this product, both of my drives died while using this one a new 160gb seagate sata drive and an 80gb ibm ide drive

For IDE, only 3.5" required to use with the adaptor.

i frankly find these kinds of video useless. If you're not going to talk, then you're wasting my time. I might as well just read the user manual.
