EXTENSIVE Drag Suspension Setup! QA1 Upper and Lower Control Arms | Bump Steer | Long Travel!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

If you're looking for an extensive how to set up drag race suspension video, here's one for you! This customer's gorgeous 1979 Camaro came to us all the way from Michigan to get his suspension properly set up and handling correctly, and boy did we have some work ahead of us! Fortunately he's got this 2nd Gen Camaro loaded with QA1 components and ready for some serious setup! Drag Race Alignments are something we are known for, and we are incredibly honored that people travel so far to have us do what we do. Now let's get to work!
Unlike your typical car alignment where there may be some minor adjustments from factory, any time you are getting into aftermarket parts, lifted alignments, lowered alignments, or upgraded suspension travel there are going to be a whole lot more variables. MOST shops won't take on this type of work because it's massively more time consuming than a regular alignment, and incredibly more complicated. Fortunately we're a hot rod garage, and race car folks, so we know people need to have a place they can go for quality work they can trust. In the end we handled the Bump Steer Setup, got caster and camber evened out while adding a ton of stability, and even took care of a few other minor issues while it was here.
Another race car done, ready to run, and hit the track!

That's what it's all about on setups and alignments like these. Especially on cars hitting these kinds of speeds, every little bit needs to be as perfect as possible.

If you can strong arm it in the parking lots then 6 deg will be great on the straight.
