Having the collecting sickness as well, I feel bad for his heirs
I bet he doesn't have a Schweickert soda bottle from the 1910's, or a Baas soda bottle from the 1920's. That company, (Schweickert & Baas,) or at least the label lasted from 1876 to 1967 in Brooklyn, NY. A great run for a bottling company. Yet because it was a small company , most avid collector's don't have a single bottle, especially if from the 1930's or earlier. I collect it due to a family connection and have many early bottle's.
