Hi Tracey! Yes, especially that first table! But there were also many boxes and bins of bottles costing only $1-$5 each. Something for everyone at this show! You never know with me... I could buy a $1 bottle or a $100 bottle. I buy what I like. But yes, bottles can be quite expensive! -Cathy 👋😃😎

Hi Cynthia! The sample is one of my favorites, and yes, that shooter is a beauty! The others (in the jars) were too similar to so many I already have. Drew collects the Plantation Bitters, in different shades. This was a looong video! Thanks for watching! 😁💖

Another great video! Trying not to buy so many bottles,myself, I saw an estate sale nearby, the man had been a locksmith,safe cracker,etc. and I said to myself I'm safe let's go have a look see.... well you may have guessed by now, he had a collection of Warner's Safe Cures! Bought them all (16) for under a 100! I can't win! Looking forward to your next video. Thank you.

Wow! That first table had some amazing bottles on it. I especially like the cobalt violin bottle. You got a beautiful cobalt bottle, Kathy. I love your shoe. The brown glaze is beautiful!!!

Hi Anthony! The first table had some rarer bottles, and some very colorful bottles, and some with original labels. Not sure my bottle color came across well, but it is actually a beautiful teal (not cobalt). I love teal bottles!! Didn't matter to me that it was not embossed, or fancy. And I was pleased to get that shoe/boot for only $6.00! 😃👍

All those beautiful bottles, I wouldn't know where to start but my favourite of your purchase's is the Drake's plantation bottle, the shape and decoration and colour are just gorgeous! I love the trade cards too they are so pretty but only one marble? Have you cleared them out of all the good ones Cathy? 😄The little shoe is precious! Hope all is well with you both 😀❤x

Hi Amanda, Yes, actually.. . All of those marbles at that one table were too much like ones I already have (we have actually bought from each other a few times. Lol) But that one shooter is outstanding! I was happy to find it. Drew collects those Drake's Plantation Bitters bottles. He has many different shades of color. (You have good taste... Figural bitters bottles are 🤑. ) (I am waiting to find one of those in the river! 😄) The shoe was one of my favorites too. I do love figurals. The fish was cool, but too big! 🐬 The tiny 3 in 1 oil bottle with all the writing on it is another favorite! This was a looong video. I think next week will be a much shorter one. (This one did not go up until 4am our time 🥱) All is well here... Just adjusting to Drew's new retirement. (He is busier now than when he was working) . Oh! I almost forgot: We were treated to three new baby chucks yesterday! 😍😎👍🦔🦔🦔💖🌞

I asked about the tiny gin bottle. It was a lot more $ than the teal one, and I liked the teal one more. But that tiny gin would have been my second choice! -Cathy 😁

Hi There, Thanks for commenting! We have lots of inks too. Great thing about inks is they are (usually) small! Yes, we need to weed out some stuff at this point.😬🙄 "Looking for great stuff" is truly an addiction! We would rather be in the river finding bottles, but when we can't, we go to shows and flea markets. I metal detect as well, and those vids will make it up eventually. I have become a bit of a museum curator at home at this point. Not quite ready to "show" those collection spaces yet... Lol -Cathy 😁

Hello Cathy and Drew, What a nice video and bottle show & sale. Lew and I would like to try selling some of our bottles this way. You both bought so many nice bottles and got awesome deals on them. 🙂The Murphy's Rheumatic cure bottle from Lowell mass was a nice bottle that you bought. I have dug up them in smaller sizes here in Haverhill mass. That Langley Root & herb bitters bottle is the best one that Drew bought at this show. 🙂 We hope you both can go dig soon at that ocean bay area again soon and before the hot weather gets here. Lew and I are planning to dig soon at a place that is close to our apartment. Man, it's has been hot and even buggy out there! This happened to soon and hopefully it cools down soon .LOL! Hi Jeff & Lew, Glad you enjoyed it! There were some pricey bottles at this one, but we managed to find the deals! I'm loving the Lowell cure! I also love the hot weather! (The only time of year I feel almost normal) But it does get hot in the chest waders in the summer. 🌡️The bugs I could do without... Mosquitos and ticks. I am behind in editing videos. We have been so busy. I actually have another beach dig in the queue somewhere. Not sure when it will go up. Tomorrow will be another hot one.. Stay cool! Take care, Cathy & Drew 🙂😎

The Lowell Mass soda on that table was a rare one, and does go for several hundred $$ (not sure exactly how much) but we do have one in our collection, and it was quite expensive. Not sure about the others on that table.. they were not in my category of collecting. The pine tree cordial was a very nice example. There were a couple more tables with "high end", but there were also many bargain boxes at the show, and many somewhere in between. Something for every level of collecting! Also, sometimes bottles are priced high if they came from a "prestigious collection", (or, in some cases, the seller may not be too anxious to actually sell the bottles they are showing, but will be willing to sell at a high price). We do not personally know all of these dealers, so we can't really speak for them here. But the bottles were all very beautiful to see! -Cathy 👀

😢 Lmfao....I don't even bother with such shows anymore....the prices are inflated and the items are questionable. I'm doing fine staying away. 😎 FYI, I dig originals but found too many fakes being sold by these so called show experts..

We agree there were a lot of "high end" bottles at this one, but did you watch long enough to see our actual purchases, and what we paid? 🤔 Half the fun is just hanging out with our fellow bottle friends.. And we prefer to buy from those we know and trust! Just because we show you a bottle, and a price, does not mean we necessarily agree with it. We are bringing you an honest bottle event experience. As you probably know, we are diggers too... and nothing compares to that feeling of recovering something beautiful, that hasn't seen the light of day in 90+ years, and truly knowing its provenance! I agree with you on that much. And some of the dealers at this show were also diggers. BTW, we DID see a "fake" bottle at a flea market today, and told so on (future) video! Prices are debatable, but a fake is a fake! -Cathy

The shows show what the real.prices are . And going other places your just looking for a one in a million cheap bottle. And really the diggers and collectors are one percent of the bottle collector world . They get bottles cheaper. The shows are actually cheaper than what most people have to pay . Most people Don't know any collectors or any diggers . And other than shows they have to scrape and scratch around for any common bottles and slicks for twenty dollars each . I go to towns all over southern Illinois and to community yard sales and get rid of hundreds of clear glass bottles And common embossed bottles and ketchups for 15 and 20 each . So many a day can't count. No one buys the hundreds of dollars bitters bottles. Only lots of cheap ones especially color other than clear green amber blue. Purple. Every one is hung up on the high dollar bottle. Not wear the real money for me is
