I can't imagine what will happen with the next maybach

I did not think that anything could make the W222 look old and this just did. It is stunning. It is very progressive and modern and I love love love the look of the back. It has a sort of regal classiness to it. It looks strong but classy. I know many may say they don't like it now but that usually happens with all German cars. They are designed with the future in mind so that after 10 years it doesn't look old. Every new model that came out was polarising from the W140 right to this one. After like a year people seem to then love it again. As humans, people just don't like change. This is a great change.

s class engine is good. i used to own an s500 but i'm more of a 4x4 person. the c class - well c stands for CHEAP. anyways, very expensive to maintain and the more electronics it has, the more often you'll be at the dealership. this piece of crap cost more than they're worth

@@lordbuttertoast7965 You're right but this is nothing new, this is all a copy of Chinese and Korean phones. In Europe, it is forbidden to use a telephone while driving a car and this is nothing but a wheeled telephone. Mercedes has always been synonymous with quality but now it is not because it has removed all the expensive quality buttons and put one tablet. I like when the car has a screen but with much smaller dimensions.

@@denali22 Yes, but cars will be very boring. And the price of the car will be the same as when they had the buttons. It will take a lot of time to improve voice commands, and even when they do, everyone will be bored using them. You’ve noticed that people avoid using siri, bixby or google assisstance. Even samsung has removed the bixbiy button. Everyone prefers to click something rather than say something

in my opinion, this new s class is being murdered. to clarify that THIS IS S CLASS, it should be more exclusive and luxury not over modern style. the console of this car doesn't contain wood or leather. the screen is like be more iPad, big as Tesla, buttons from Samsung, put more option in steering wheel. the head light of the previous one is more elegant and updated, it doesn't touch my heart or make me pay attention anymore. tail light is absolutely Hyundai. the previous S class is so unique but the new one ...... I don't know I'm just disappointed.

I dunno about this rear end, Mercedes. As an S Class owner, I would prefer my ride to avoid confusion with entry-level A/CLA models. Otherwise a fan, as always.

@Seki So far, I've heard people say this looks like a Hyundai, a Genesis, a Kia, a Toyota, an Alfa, an Audi, a BMW, a tesla. Haha. All that tells me is that people love to hate. The design is progressive and modern. Like everyone who complained about the last ones now saying they loved it, the same will happen here. Humans just don't like change. The tech is far better than what Audi does. Audi doesn't have rear airbags or the same level of safety assist features integrated with ambient lighting. Audi doesn't have digital light on the A8. They don't have anything close to as good as MBUX. They don't have augmented reality navigation. They don't have 4d sound with vitality programmes. Not leading with tech?? I don't think you know much about the new S Class. That is very clear. A big screen does not mean tesla. It isn't even the same aspect ratio nor is it integrated the same. Touch screen is necessary to add and update features since it has over the air software updates and ability to activate level 4 autonomous driving through an ota update (unlike Audi BTW). It looks nothing like a tesla. Just because it is all touch screen doesn't mean they're trying to be more like tesla. I think you need to read some articles on the S. It's clear you don't know anything about the new one since your comment is filled with ignorant assumptions. This is jaw dropping. It's so nice to be a part of this magic. Wish I could work with the software engineers and contribute to this awesome features and experiences. Cheers to always pushing boundaries and setting standards. I dream of having one soon.

Magnificent, Mercedes! As always.

Mercedes you didn’t need to to put a giant slab of nothing down the middle in order to have an amazingly technologically advanced car. Pop your head around at the new RR’s, especially the Ghost. Or Bentley Flying Spur... LOOK at what they’re doing. They are amplifying both technology AND personality in their beautiful models.

Rightly said "S-Class is the Heart of Mercedes Benz". This car hardly has a flaw, only flaw I notice is its price LOL... Top class design, great features & above all class of its own. Truly The Best car in the segment. I rate it above A8L & BMW 7 series even though I love Audi's A8L. Love from India.

Exactly. Majority of S-Class owners do not need too advanced wireless technology. They only use parking cameras, collision detection, side view collision and cruise control.
