That was one of the best stage wins i've ever seen! Jonas wasn't tempted to cover Pogs explosiveness. He knew he had time to metronomically claw him back on the climb. Then he surprised us all with out sprinting Pog. Topped off by Pog congratulating him over the line. Fukn epic racing boys!

Huge fan of both Jonas and Tadej, huge respect for each other. A rivalry for the ages

What a fight, played very well by Jonas. Tadej ultimately used a gear that was too light for the sprint. I don't think it was a mistake, he was tired, his legs couldn't push any further. It will be a great show in the coming weeks.

I am not a fan of cycling per se., but I do follow the TDF yearly since a few years back... And this is shaping up to be a classic! Still lots to go, but I can't see this going any other way than Tadej or Jonas winning the thing. My heart is with Jonas. But my brain says Tadej! Either way I'll be satisfied. Both great ambassadors of the sport, and true class acts. And hats of to the editing team that is doing fabulous work with these highlights! Keep it up!

What happened to Vingegaard is absolutely incredible, after his brutal fall in Spain and having been in a critical situation with serious danger to his life, after having lost a lot of time in preparation and facing a Pogacar in full power, it is capable of doing what today and looking into the face of the yellow jersey to say, I'm here and if you want to win the Tour you're going to have to sweat Chinese ink to do it. Absolutely wonderful the little Dane.

The last 4-5 years have been great to watch because both Pogačar and Vingegaard are so likeable. I don't care who wins because they're both just great people.

I appreciate the production this year on these highlights, great music, editing and styling. whoever is in charge has made some great choices.

Pogacar is concerned by what happened today and went on the verbal offensive "...we can [not] say that it's not a fair fight... he's in top shape." And, Pogacar ran out of gas after the attack that Vingegaard had to patiently claw back from. When asked about this, Pogacar deflected and said that he descended well. He'll be concerned tonight and definitely frustrated leading into tomorrow. That minute and change lead could well be gone before he knows it.

Remco sees Primoz as his rival for third place and Jonas sitting in the wheels on the gravel stage, scuppered the chance of putting big time into him. It's understandable Remco was annoyed, but Jonas did what was best for himself.

Love that Pog is happy Jonas is fit . He wants to win by beating the best at their best . Jonas doesn’t usually do emotion but the man has been through it. He is supremely tough. My god this is so tantalising. Sport at its very very best .

Watching this year’s videos, I am always reminded of the sportsmanship these two have for each other. They say it’s a psychological tactic Visma Team is doing, and who can blame them? Jonas with that crash last April, has to put all of his emotions to each race. Pogi is getting closer to the overall win, but kudos to these two for making the 2024 tour a tour to remember.

This was actually an incredible stage. I think this could be called a light mountain ride, because it wasn't a hill ride either. The enormous acceleration of Pogacar and then no longer ending in the climb itself. He always has that explosiveness at that moment, but after that Vingegaard can always ride at the same pace. It was an incredible comeback from him, especially after his fall. Roglic organized this stage incorrectly and therefore had to let go of Vingegaard and was therefore overtaken by Evenepoel, who was smart to set his own pace. You also saw that Roglic had difficulty following Evenepoel in the descent, while he is normally the better of the 2 and then he also crashes. He was lucky that it was in the last 3km and that he got the same time as Evenepoel. I find this remarkable, because okay the rules are that this only does not apply in a mountain stage, but for me this was a mountain stage, because this is simply a steering error in a descent and not a mass crash or bad luck. Okay, but these are the rules now. Congratulations to Vingegaard, you saw that Pogacar had nothing left
