I remember last summer when he almost left for Chelsea (he wanted to but City decided against because we didn't have enough defenders). Imagine if that happened, not only would we not have won the treble, he would have been playing for that horrible Chelsea team.

I already knew the potential of Doku as a dribbler, combined with his speed. Being a Belgian, he's already improving under the wings of Pep and his staff. Meaning delivering assists or scoring.

I had even forgotten that Kovacic kicked the game off and played both half's of the game. I think maybe KDB steps right into his position, Nunes has some sort of impact in the second half atleast, nothing spectacular from Kova tho. Everyone else, even Julian without a goal is playing their roles well.

Same as Semanyo and Kudus play for the fatherland. You don’t know how proud we’re of Doku. I’m surprised that no one went for Doku when he burst on the scene about four years ago during the European Championship. So don’t tell me that I’m for Grealish and British and whatever I like Grealish least. He slows play, doesn’t release the ball early, but his tracking back and helping in the midfield is intergral to City winning the treble last year. Against pacy teams like Real Madrid and Liverpool, Pep’s gonna use Grealish. Got it?
