We had a grulla mare for years. Best mountain horse we have ever had.....she could get you to the top of the mountain without even blowing hard. But you had to be quick there to dismount, because she loved a snow roll!

Beautiful! It’s amazing that their legs are the length they will always be! I think the body grows,but,the legs stay the same…that’s what I read,somewhere 🤷‍♀️🐴💚

The stallion is named Almost Dun Braggin. He's Dun. When Holly's foal sheds her baby coat, I think she will be Grulla with stripes like a Dun.

She is GORGEOUS!!!! Can’t wait see how she changes. I had a great grandson out of King P234 that was a silver grulla. His shoulder barring, black dorsal, and leg barring we’re mind-blowing!!!! During the summer, he was stunning gorgeous. During winter, he’d look like a giant wooly possum. His name was Mouse. I’d team pen on him, run barrels, run poles, and flag races. I got a call asking if I would consider selling him to a youth rider that wanted Mouse fort he Quarter Horse Congress.He wanted to rope off him and try him as a cutting horse. I agreed to leasing him after having the family spend the weekend working with Mouse. They were perfect for each other and on they went. The young man won top honors in the three events they were entered in. What’s more is how close they were. They wanted to buy him so they could really start training with him. So, I co-owned for one more year. Mouse wanted for nothing! So, I signed him over with a clause saying he would come back to me if they outgrew him and leveled up. In the end, Mouse took care of 3 kids in that family and helped win trophies, money, and scholarships. That’s a legacy horse!

Hi, there.I'm in New Jersey and I just came across your channel.I'm a big animal lover but i've never had horses. I started watching you when you lost that little filly.Or maybe it was a fall.I'm not sure, but since you have this new one.Why do you go get that extra large dog coat and put it on her because she looks like she's shivering.If you can get that close right now. I have a deep respect for you. Both because of your love of animals and I sure wish I could be out there around where you live. I used to live in Florida and now I'm up in New Jersey and I rescue senior disabled and hospital dogs and it is so worthwhile to do that. So I understand how much you love your horses. I'm gonna keep watching
