They take a bit of your hearts with them, no matter how short a time they spend in your life. She knew love, care, safety, and the sheer joy of being able to be a sassy baby, instead of starvation or predation. You gave her a great gift, and I thank you for that.

Oh just saw your video I have been following this and so so sorry she was so cute. Her life just wasn't to be I thought sure she would make it.😢 😢

You gave her the best possible chance to overcome her rough start when you brought her home. Those first days are so critical even when the circumstances are ideal. You two are the foal's only safety net. you showing up for them can save them in so many ways - not all of which are for a long life. This time it was from a long death alone, or with predators. she knew love and care and the company of other horses. What a blessing. Thank you.

Is is sad to lose her but as you said, you do what you can and sometimes things happen beyond your control. You saved her from a horrible loney death out on the mountains. She knew love and enjoyed her brief life while with you. My condolences on losing her.

I just started watching your channel with the video of you guys rescuing this little filly. I was fascinated to learn that the mares abandon them. I did not know that nor did I know that there are people like you who go to all lengths to rescue them. I had such hopes that she’d make it.
