Exquisite furniture, paint project. create the look of elegance.

Small, Furniture Painter makeovers, can be just as fun and challenging as some of the larger projects. sometimes keeping the overall paint finish looking quite simple, will allow the look of elegance, I have to admit working on this small table was quite challenging, but what I did now is that I wanted to add age and patina I suppose there’s so many ways to approach the desired look, but I hope today you will take one or two ideas for your own future projects.

@@JonathonMarcMendesPaintedLove Funny that nobody would recognize it as a knob now. At first I thought, "NO! A knob on the bottom of that skirt would look stupid." I was wrong. Great call. BTW, you gave me a good idea for a 3 panel screen I am doing, was going to order 6 finials, but knobs might be fine, if I have the right ones. Would love to send you a pic, and see what you think. TY 🥰

OMG Jonathan!! Playing “catch up” after working yesterday & today basically 13 hours each!!! Just started watching & can see my own vision for this piece!!! Also a gardener. Stopped and haven’t seen your vision yet!! My vision is a work!garden table as I go out into my backyard. Already has the kinda vine look. The little shelf under is useless as far as a garden table-more structural-but if a flowering Jasmine vine started there and crept up to top!!!! A basket on top with gloves, hand tools, & a sun hat on a hook!! I’m set!!!!🌿🌸💫

@@JonathonMarcMendesPaintedLove This turned out so elegant, it's so porcelain perfection in it's colors, style, design, it is truly a beautiful piece, and that is not as easy an achievement when distressing. Many look dry and brittle, this has a silk essence and I don't think that's a just on camera feel. Maybe the oversight was a Subconscious intention ... Hugs!

I’m so glad I tuned in for this project! I have a Martha Washington sewing stand that is a dark, maybe mahogany, finish that is very plain but it is a family heirloom. This technique is the understated look I have been searching for for years! I love seeing all the gold (Katcha), but that does not fit my style. This includes it, but tones it way down and gives the whole piece a somewhat rustic finish without going overboard. Perfect! Thanks again!
