Yes, Mark Galer is the second best. They both pronounce clearly, so that no-native English users don't fell of. Now were even subtitles. Without Smith, Galer and a couple more vloggers, I should not been able to make the transition from Canon. I will now try to do bracketing in Lr CC. I will keep Lr CC until Smith finds a way to do bracketing in Capture One, then I go completely for C1, which I ordered in March. Lr CC is getting better and better, but it's too bad you are kept hostage to their subscription plan, especially as they continue to rise their prices.

Thanks so much Øyvind!! I’m glad I could help you and your transition from canon! It’s tricky switching brands and there are things I miss from the canon cameras but well worth it in the long run! As for adobe...the subscription model is a little annoying and I’m going to be getting capture one very soon to try it out. Hopefully they’ll add a blending function for bracketing so you have that at your disposal soon! 😁👍

Just upgraded to the a7iii, great info on this video. I use bracketing a lot for car photography. Very helpful because most of the times a car will cast a weird shadow since you normally take pictures all around it. I typically use aperture priority so I get a good depth of field and I don't have to do a lot of adjusting when in a car show and the clouds change the lighting.

Dang bro is like you broke down each step very well ! I really needed to see your video today because I just hired as a real estate photographer and want to produce the best quality for my clients ! I appreciate it !
aperture priority seems to me to be the proper choice when using bracketing: you don’t want to have different depths of field between the shots.
@mikesphotography
5 жыл бұрын
Yep, I agree, both aperture priority and manual mode with a fixed iso. They both change shutter speed and nothing else. Thanks for watching! 👍
@sotosnik
4 жыл бұрын
@@mikesphotography By the way lowest ISO value is 50.
@pushpdeeppandey
4 жыл бұрын
@@sotosnik Its the lowest, correct. But its not the base ISO. And the Dynamic Range (DR) is maximum at the sensor's base ISO. Just like its 64 for few Nikon flagships and 100 for some Canon flagships.
@mikesphotography
Жыл бұрын
@@pushpdeeppandey you're right. Although, I've found the difference between iso 50 and iso 100 to be negligible ... even up to iso 400, there isn't that much of an issue for me. But there are many factors involved including the amount of detail in the frame, the exposure levels you get and the amount of correction you make to the shadows when editing.
Love all the tutorials Mike thank you!

Nice video lesson about bracketing. I used to do a lot of HDR when I had my Canon cameras. But since moving to Sony, I have yet to use HDR. I find the dynamic range of the Sony cameras such as the A6500 and the A7iii, probably because they benefit from a newer generation of sensors, to be quite good.
@mikesphotography
5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul!! You’re right on that front! I find myself doing it less and less due to the large dynamic range. Although it’s quite a good “cheat” if you’re not 100% sure if the exposure settings!...I sometimes do this if I’m rushed for time or I’m feeling lazy...then you can pick the best one later!! 😆
