This is another type of mentality by abusers: act innocent, act like you're on the same team as those bringing light and awareness to abuse, and act like you're part of the movement to stop the abuse. My father sent me to counseling for years as a teen and acted like he had no clue why I suffered from severe depression during this time. Meanwhile, he molested me and my sister every couple weeks when my mom was gone overnight. So yes, abusers sometimes use these tactics as a shield and unfortunately it works.

7 yrs ago a friend of mine, who is a holistic doctor called me to come and talk with one of her clients, as he was in a bad way spiritually. He was cutting himself and was very distraught. He had worked for Steven Spielberg for 5 years. He wouldn't tell me what happened but it was related to where he worked. As an Intuitive, I sensed there were children involved. Eventually, he gave a little more info that alot of children came and went and no one would believe the things that occurred. I told him, oh yes I would. He had to leave the country to feel safe. Though he signed an NDA, which he did adhere to mostly, he gave enough sense that it was a dark world and his psyche and spirit could not live with it anymore. His partner was a long time Extra on a hit show then, he was mysteriously killed a few months later. I have lost touch with this man, I do hope he is still around and well. Hollywood is at the end of its dark and secret ways. Truth will always come out in time! Good on you Sloan for making this video! 🙏

I worked in the film industry on film crews and to be honest with you...sometimes I can see that stuff as happening but the majority of the time there are certain actors and actresses like Megan Fox for example, who are extremely difficult to work with and demanding. When the crew hates working with you then guess what....you stop getting job offeres because no one wants to put up with it.

They’re trying to bring this cre*p into my school and I’m not having it.

So sick...I grew up with these filmakers as I'm a child of the 80's surrounded by action figures, calenders, etc. Survivors just can't seem to get away from people like this...what an atrocity!! 😭 Thank you as always Sloan!!💖

Because a prerequisite for working there is to want to play pretend to self-centeredly gather the adulation of a fanbase. The worst of them believe they’re worthy of worship, act like they’re above societal norms and can do just as they please.

I worked at kroger and the manager was a woman. Another manager was a man and he was under her. He sexually assaulted my coworker who was even younger than I was. The female manager completely victim blamed my coworker and took his side. He got demoted or fired but yeah I heard about how she handled it. A woman ran place does not mean shit will be better. In fact, there seems to be an expectation that they should stay in their place to receive more praise from their male collegues

West Side Story bombed for the same reasons that almost all modern movies don't do well: woke trash. The ORIGINAL West Side Story was loved, the woke remake bombed because everything woke turns to shit.

At this point I'm assuming Hollywood execs are guilty until proven innocent. I'm not a judge, so it doesn't matter. These people are disgusting, and I'm over it. If it means never watching another box office hit to put these awful people out of business, I'm down. I watch KZread anyway.

I remember as a child that part of Indian Jones giving me the 'ick', but I let it go because everyone else around me at the time seemed to be fine with it. Heather O’Rourke was my age and although back then none of this info was public to me never struck me right. All I knew was seeing him on tv I wouldn’t want a “special relationship” with that man or a daddy figure and I didn’t even have a dad. JS That’s all

I saw a story years ago, about Christian Bale's body double for Empire of the Sun. Something like, the child was kept as a "special" buddy for Spielberg. I brushed it off thinking it sounded outrageous, but having heard this, maybe not as outrageous as I thought.

I really try to keep a distinction between them as an actual person and the characters they play. NEVER idolize them, you may like the roles they play or movies that they make but we don't actually know the REAL person behind closed doors. Always try to remember that.

I kept seeing comments about Heather O'Rourke so I did some digging on Google and was mortified that her death was pretty much allegedly due to being mol****d and sodo****d on a TV set which is what caused her colon to rupture sending her into sepsis/toxic shock which ultimately led to her death. But I personally believe it to be true after what Ariana Richards from Jurassic Park spoke about what happened to her. It's sickening.
