I'm a very old, 86, new Adventist. This is depressing to me as I have an unsaved daughter who is very good to me. And an Sikh brother. And a sister who has been a Christian longer than me who has no interest in knowing about this. She totally believes in her evangelical teachings. I could go on about other family. All dear to me. I just pray they become believers.

The devil need not do a thing, men distort the gospel all on their own. This preach says men are going to heaven when every text shows God is coming to us bringing the riches and glory of his kingdom here on earth. We even pray "thy kingdom come" but let the preach tell us our love ones are in heaven. John 3:13 KJV And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. The text above came right out of the savior's mouth but who believes. Irony of irony for those who are saved are those who believe messiah.

Great message, however I just wanted to clarify one point. PERFECTION BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT SEAT. We are all at different stages on our walk with God, and sanctification is a process over time. The Good News is that we are justified before God, the minute we repent and submit to Christ. RIGHTEOUS BY FAITH! Then we start growing our faith and trust in God as we continue to submit to His will. *As long as you keep growing in Christ, in the process of sanctification, you will be perfect (covered in the righteousness of Christ) before the Judgement Seat*

If you are right and we all need to be perfect to stand before God, then we are all lost. Name one person, other than Christ that is/was perfect. Being perfected, and being perfect are two different things. If I truly believed like you, I would have given up a long time ago, you see the closer you get to Jesus, the more you see how wretched you are. Also, there would be no point in witnessing and making disciples, because there wouldn't be enough time for them to prepare. God requires perfection, that is true! Christ is our perfection. It is His standard that we aim for yes, but we won't completely attain it until we reach the kingdom 1 John 1:8

I was just told we no longer need to keep the Sabbath and used col. 2:16. She said "The church is not under Mosaic Law we are now under the new covenant." and prayed I be shown the truth, in Jesus' name. Some others chimed in the sabbath is when you spend time with God and worship Him continuously. I was somewhat for a loss of words other than God created the everything in six days and rested on the seventh and calls us to do the same. After ten years I'm still at a loss however I am finally learning through your teachings and Pastors like Doug Batchelor. A side note, I do have a hard time with all the quotes from Ellen White. Never read any of her writings on purpose. Matt, I read part of Rome's Challenge. The phrase "the day of the Lord" which made me think someone like the woman I spoke of would take that as Sunday.

Please turning to the Lord is the best decision that can be taken by any man. The hour of his coming has come.

To my knowledge the sabbath is not replaced by Sunday worship. Sunday worship is due to the day Jesus arose from the dead on the first day of the week. Paul said to gather on the first day of the week. The sabbath is different from Sunday! Growing up we never kept the sabbath and when I looked it up it says we don’t, because that was a law God made with the Jews. I’m not sure what to think about it now, but I feel I should keep both! If God says to remember the sabbath, then we should remember the sabbath and keep it holy

We have seen... What I would personally call "false revival" at Asbury College. There was a huge excitement over this. People wanted to come to that area from all over. And they actually expressed this. How different is this to being kin to seeing Jesus in the dessert?

Sabbath is only meaningful if we have an intimate relationship with Jesus. Sadly, i believe millions of Sabbath keepers who are worshipping on the right day but totally have no relationship with God. People should first focus on seeking God and develop a close relationship with Jesus and God will help them to know and understand the true meaning of Sabbath keeping.

And exactly why would this plan be important to Satan? Does he place bets about us? Does he collect souls? If so, what does he keep them in, mayonnaise jars? Why would he not want us in Heaven? Wouldn't more of us in heaven make hell more valuable, like a better neighborhood? Further, apparently Satan has been doing this for a long time, and yet he still hasn't been any good at it.

Ok, so I've been compiling verses about the Sabbath and so I've written down your list of "Sabbath - Proof Texts" and then when I went to look up the very first text I became very very confused!?! The first one is the only one that has been fully name of the book shortened to just 3 letters, Matt doesn't count really, it is Isaiah. However, it has to be a typo somewhere because Isa 31 only goes to verse 9! Someone please tell me what I'm missing?!!

Also, if all spirits go back to God, does that include the spirits of wicked people who deny Jesus is the Messiah?

Yes, where else would their spirit go? It is held by God who gave the spirit until the day of judgement. Remember the spirit is not a conscious entity in this state.

Godhead means divinity; omniscience omniscient. Identifying the Godhead as though it refers to the trinity is error friend. Even the smallest Google search will reveal in 2024 that Godhead and Trinity are regarded as the same. That is wrong. If you are worshipping the Holy Spirit then who is the Holy Spirit?

Lots of new information. Lots to consider. Thank you for the info. Somethings I strongly disagree. Regarding the bottomless pit; You say Genesis 1v2 and Rev 20v1 is the same word in the original. I don’t see how this is possible because Genesis was written in Hebrew and Rev in Greek. Second; Darkness was on the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the face of that water. The deep is the water.

Also, it is much more than just disobeying the Sabbath command & immortal soul beliefs that sets apart the elect of Yahovah. Many more believers than SDA's & more likely all divisive sects claiming to be only "chosen ones" is a false doctrine

You didn't listen to what he said. He stated of the total of all he encountered only three were Sabbath followers. He didn't say that was completely all that existed. What you spoke of in Zechariah 14, was designated for an Israel that followed God til the end. But we know that they turned away from God and set Christ up to die totally denieing our Savior. So that feast doesn't apply to new covenant teachings, sure the principle does but not the actual feast.

All through the Bible holy angels showed themselves to humans. Why couldn’t fallen angels do the same? Possession of humans is a possibility, but it’s not the only one.

They can enter other bodies human and animal. Also angels were in the form of men when talking to Abraham and others. They can change form. It happened throughout scripture. Angels didn't magically lose their abilities when they fell.

The Papacy has already had minor changes in simple words to deceive the people in ALL modern versions, except the KJV. All modern versions have between 16-18 missing verses, the text number may be there, but the text is missing. For example, the NKJV and NIV have 16 missing verses that are in the KJV

I do agree with most you teach! Like alot! The Word said at sunset starts Sabbath where he finishes his Word in body 10 & of the 5 wise perfects her cleans her draws her to himself! He opens the gates to her! of the Truth! Deep things - understanding power to walk in them! He purpose is to clean the earth of wrong doing [false image] & show forth His IMAGE! sin separates us from God! The Word - Truth & Spirit! Works in bride! & bring many son up to glory! These scriptures you referenced are regarding the statutes and commands, not the Bible. The Bible has had different "books" added and removed over the decades. For example, the Catholic Bible has different "books" than the Protestant Bible, i.e 1 & 2 Macabees, Judith, Baruch, etc.

Please share the timestamps to what you are referring to? Would you have him just stand with his arms by his side?
