Actually very interesting Muay Thai displayed in this GYM. Fighters always going forward, very well controlled and good management of strenght and distance, everyone falled and got up very quickly. Its good to see that some gyms really have the basics of Muay Thai covered up in USA.

5:00 was my favorite spar, very good technique on display.

why do the females take it so serious? Sparring isnt about cracking each other. Its a chess game back and forth flow. I find it funny how they keep doing the same apprach and still cant figure out on the fly why they keep getting tagged too.

This is what you call Americanized "Muay Thai". Living in shin pads playing paddy cake. This is even an insult to kickboxing which is a lot less brutal. Truth: If you go to Thailand and understand the language, EVERYONE laugh about American practicing Muay. They have it because there is a lot of money in it. Girls cannot train properly without shin pads, they get hurt to easily with traditional training. These are all facts I stated weather one likes it, agrees with it or not.

@@based4l798yes, shin guard are used for sport boxing in Thailand. Muay Thai is not traditional Muay. Come train at my place in Muay Boran where it is all traditional. No girly / weak boy shin padding. Get some real Muay. I hate gyms like yours claiming training in Muay. It an embarrassment even to the sport or Muay. Do you know why Saenchai is there? Publicity which = more money for him. He will train anyone that brings in a few hundred baht. Many places in Bangkok are like this. As a matter of fact, to be competitive, almost all places now allow female and even the one that do not like outsiders see the money in it. They know it's a waste of time, but they do not care. If you think Saenchai cares, you are being fooled. I know him personal and talked to him many a time about this. You not teaching real Muay.

Women need realize sparring isn't a fight. And the only reason you(women) can do anything is because we(men) let you...especially in sparring. So calm down and just be playful.
