The only thing that Oberyn has done right was killing Gregor and possibly poisoning Tywin, if that one theory was right (and it was only in books, so this does not count here as this moment that the theory talks about isn't even in tv show. it's different..)

Love that Bridget's reaction to Oberyn's death is literally the same as Ellaria's and plays out exactly at the same time side by side. Ah Oberyn, we hardly knew ye. Like Ellaria, Bridget's reaction was in response to losing the one she loved :(

I resolved to read the books after the Red Wedding episode so I would never be caught off guard again, and I have to be honest here: I never really thought much of Oberyn in the books. He was super cocky and then got killed in his first on page fight, so I just didn't really think he added much. HOWEVER, seeing the way Pedro played him in the series morphed him from slightly forgettable and/or annoying, to one of my favorite characters in anything ever. Just a superb job of acting.

So weird how Cody sees nothing wrong with what Jorah did. If he REALLY cared for her, he should’ve came clean about how things started. If he kept that a secret, who knows what else he’s keeping secret? Her and her baby wouldn’t have been put in danger if he hadn’t been sending info back to Robert. Yeah, I think the worst thing was that he never came clean about it to her on his own volition. He sold information on her in secret, and kept that fact a secret from her for years, all while she trusted him perhaps most of all, never suspecting. How could she ever trust him again? Now she knows for a fact that he can successfully keep a betrayal hidden from her. And that is such a hard blow, because it's not just about the betrayal itself. How can you experience something like that, and not look at all the other people you have chosen to trust, and wonder "Have I been blind to this one too?". Jorah, by getting so close to Dany, and encouraging her so much to trust and rely on him, without ever voluntarily admitting to the truth for so long, broke something precious, a confidence in her relationships, that's hard to mend again. She has every right to want nothing to do with him.

Oberyn Martell. Made a great impression at his entrance to the show. Made great impressions during his time on the show. Made a great (if unfortunate) impression leaving it.

Maybe it didnt stick the landing for everyone but you cant deny the tension it creates and how good it is at keeping you on your toes! Great reaction you guys! And ignore anyone who complains about the uploads, you guys are kicking ass with how well youre going through the series!

always a joy to watch people experience true shock to re-ignite that memory of the feeling we had on seeing it for our first time. I am not squeamish, but this is still one of the most dreadfully uncomfortable deaths to watch in any show ever, only one that came close was near the end of bone tomahawk, if you've seen it you know what i mean.

I just realised the point of the beetle story and the ending to this episode. His cousin to the beetles is what The Mountain is to people.

Bronn about the Mountain: "He's freakish big and freakish strong, and quicker than you'd expect for a man of that size. Maybe I could take him, dance around until he's so tired from hacking at me he dropped his sword, get him off his feet somehow...but one misstep and I'm dead." He couldn't been more right.

Sansa has been a gifted seamstress since before the story started. She always makes her own clothes. Did you notice her sewing in her room at the Eyrie when Littlefinger came to speak to her? She made that new dress, showing the cleavage. And she died her hair black (her red hair was too recognizable.) She's coming into her own. She's getting...saavy.
