Cryptozoology:
Field of study
Cryptozoology is a pseudoscience and subculture that searches for and studies unknown, legendary, or extinct animals whose present existence is disputed or unsubstantiated, particularly those popular in folklore, such as Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Yeti, the chupacabra, the Jersey Devil, or the Mokele-mbembe. Theyre also kinda hot.

Studying mythical creatures (only as myths, though) to understand the ideology of our ancestors is fascinating to me. I LOVE discussing why people made them up with my friends and why they associated certain colours, behaviour, etc with prosperity or bad luck for example. It's just so fun. But actually thinking that there's a chance something similar to this creature exists sounds INSANE to me. What could someone conclude the evolutionary purpose of "DISSOLVING in your own TEARS when your seen" is?

I love how right at the start Tugg tries to convince us there is a very good chance Cryptids could be real and to hear him out, but for every single Cryptid he talks about he either doubts its entire existence and outright says that couldn't of existed, gives an alternative to what it was, or just claims bullshit. Love it.
“The study of biology, something that is incredibly cool, and also not cool at the same exact time.” As a Biology major, I agree.
“Oh this won’t be too bad” *proceeds to call the cryptid from my hometown smashable*
I'm a person who's really into cryptids, and I just wanna say two things. 1. I'm pretty sure gorillas were cryptids at some point until 1847. And 2. I was a little bit disappointed that he didn't add the squonk into his sad cryptids, because its entire existence is suffering, like this is its description: The squonk is of a very retiring disposition, generally traveling about at twilight and dusk. Because of its misfitting skin, which is covered with warts and moles, it is always unhappy...Hunters who are good at tracking are able to follow a squonk by its tear-stained trail, for the animal weeps constantly. When cornered and escape seems impossible, or when surprised and frightened, it may even dissolve itself in tears. Also, great video!

Sad cryptids? Let me tell you about the Squonk! (Also listen to the song Squonk by Genesis it's rly good)
