There is a mobile lighning rod that will absorb the arcs from the lightning tree and your tech doesn't get damaged. It has to be activated manually (see the weapons groups) and draws a lot of energy while activated. If you time it right, it's not all that bad, though. Since the ground around the trees is strewn with tech parts in active areas, this makes for very lucrative scavenging.

Plus, you can just shoot the tree until it's destroyed, get some resources that way, takes a lot of bullets though.

Mounting weapons (and mining lasers) on the mount blocks, and the wheels on axle blocks saves a huge amount of power.

you also need to use the part catalog in the repair bay... stores more parts than the silo...

please use the tech base internal storage for your tech parts. watching you put them in the silo hurts. its one of the menu options when you hit tab over the tech base

You need to make a reactor fuel cell, in machine that makes ammo, and put it in your inventory to power the reactor. There's a countdown timer on the fuel cell, showing its limited supply time, so keep an eye on it. The time is really short, so it's basically useless, maybe you make more than one, I haven't tried that yet.

there are blocks called weapon mounts and axles that decease the reactor load of your wheels and weapons, i would highly suggest adding them to your vehicle

You should overload your reactor when going to the tundra. Overloading your reactor makes your temperature rise which could counter the cold temp of the tundra.

so if you take the yard tach block put the extender tach block and put them together with the yard storage you can put all of the vehicle blocks in the storage units via tach yard inventory left shift-click

Just a heads up all the blocks you are picking up u can put in your tech yard shift and left click when you are floating above it and there a block that increases it's storage too

If you overload your reactor you tech starts burning but in the snow area it brings it down. So if you sacrifice recharge speed you can explore the snow area without a problem

Hey Z1, you can destroy the Electric trees with your current light ammo weapons but not with the resource mining lasers you have to be just out of the tree's strike range and shoot them with your guns you can see their health going down and once you destroy them you can a lot of lithium from them so please give a try to destroying Electric trees in your next video.

You can negate the effects of overloading your reactor by driving in cold biomes.

@@jasonscott2946 No, your batteries will recharge more slowly, or discharge over time if you overload too far. Also be careful when leaving the cold biome, as your tech can overheat to the point of damage unless you restore normal load levels. (And leaving the cold biome quickly has a short overheat period anyway, which is rather annoying)

Versatile Axles offer a power discount to all attached wheels. large Batteries have Amplify to boost laser power making resource & Siraco lasers dangerous weapons that don't need ammunition. weapon mounts reduce energy requirements for ammo based weapons making them cheaper to run. Arctic Techs are armored and have Grenade Launchers that hurt a LOT! do not just sit there trying to shoot. keep moving!

You picked up a weapon mount, you can place a weapon on it to reduce the reactor cost of a weapon by the stated amount

If you put everything in the silo storage and make pipes connecting all machinery when you use a particular machine, it will take from storage silo, so if you want 20 ammo, it will take 20 to make that ammo just click on light ammo and it will take automatically what you need for 20 light ammo

I’ve never found a KZreadr that looks at the whole screen and learns the controls😂bottom right corner tells you a bunch of ways to transfer parts/materials

You have to put the auxiliry reactor on the cabin

use ammo to destroy the lightning trees, they give tons of litium and the free parts is also useful

Z please read when things pop up on screen, the auxiliary reactor requires fuel and it literally told you right as you were saying you don't know how it works

you can break the blue trees but u have to be carefull and back up before it hits you

are you researching those parts after you acquire them? If you dont, if you get blown up again and no saves left you wont have the recipe to remake them if you didnt unlock the recipe with the credits you earn for completing tasks.

The electric trees are killable and they give lithium which is useful for batteries. Just do it outside their shooting range.

when i play the demo i can get of the starter island but not far enough to get to other islands. thats beacause of a barrier, but why dont you have that barrier? i would like to know more. keep up the vids.

Z1 wheels are draining Your mech from reactor energy, because U didn't put axles on it... and battery is more important than dead reactor, because U don't have much power for drills and other inputs... vehicle with two batteries (one medium one small) and four drills attached to battery (they are super fast and very deadly to enemies)

if you had fuel you will have more power it says that you need power for the extra battery lol right on your screen
