Please keep in mind I try to show everything on camera, but sometimes find it difficult to capture or it is too long for the video. This whole production and story was fantastic! Thank you.
I have an odd story about Gruen. Gruen held a fascination with me, and got me interested in watches, because they were the first watch I remember my father owning, until it stopped working. He gave it to me to play with, and I guess I lost it. We lived in England at that time. Many years later, I was getting dental work done in Columbus, OH and kept getting weird vibes from the place. I did a search later that night and found out that dental office on Thurman Ave had been built by Dietrich Gruen and once housed the D Gruen & Sons/Columbus Watch Co factory 120 years previously.
Nice video. Loved the Jim brickman music playing in the background.
Excellent video on a beautiful watch with the added bonus of a cool history lesson: thank you so much.

My pleasure!
Terrific, informative video! I inherited my father's Gruen and now have a better appreciation for this historical brand and timepiece. In fact, I'm taking some watchmaking classes from the Horological Society of New York when they are in town in DC. As a vintage watch enthusiast with timepieces over 100 years old, it will be enlightening to have a more in-depth knowledge of its workings. Keep up the great videos!

Brilliant! Very informative, wonderfully entertaining but especially, a display of incredible skill. I have a new respect for "watchmaking engineering"! Thank you for sharing your amazing work with us!
I have a Rolex that has the same style of a Gruen? Conflicting! Yup. When I get back from my trip maybe we could talk.
Love the video.. I ran across one, and it runs, but I know it needs servicing . Do you do that type of work on the side?
Hi sir, thanks for the informative video. Who currently own Gruen name? Any clue how to buy it?
Hi
perhaps some of your viewers like the background music, but I found it very distracting & annoying. I only got thru the first minute. Seems like a good channel, wish you the best ❤
