I first went to Sark in the early 1980s, been at least once a year every year since, got married there 2 years ago and I fully intend to have my ashes scattered there too. Best place on earth, nowhere else like it.❤❤ And you don’t buy a house on sark, you buy a lease for anywhere up to 99 years, but you’ll never own it.

No cars but the locals all ride around on tractors and quad bikes.

Wrong. You can only drive a tractor if it’s pertinent to your business/work, as in deliveries or farming, it’s not a source of transport for anyone to use.
