Exploring the Biggest Market of Aizawl | Taj Mahal of Mizoram | Solomon's Temple | Mizoram | Ep 8
Want to see the authentic and traditional Mizoram? I welcome you to "Bara Bazaar" also known as "Burra Bazaar" in Aizawl. It is an extremely popular market of Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram and the main shopping centre of Aizawl. You can say that Bara bazaar functions as the lifeline of Aizawl. It is also the oldest and probably the chaeapest market in Mizoram. There are products from neighboring countries including Myanmar and Bangladesh. You can find traditional clothes, western clothes, handicrafts, vegetables, fruits, local items and almost everything at this market. Post the fun shopping in this local market, I headed to the famous Solomon's temple in Aizawl.
Solomon's Temple - The Solomon's Temple in Mizoram, India, is also known as the "Solomon's Temple Aizawl" or "Zoram Kohhran Hruaitute Committee Solomon's Temple." It's a significant landmark and a religious site located in Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram. This temple is not to be confused with the historical Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem.
The Solomon's Temple in Aizawl is a prominent religious structure for the local Christian community in Mizoram. It's considered the largest church building in Mizoram and is known for its distinctive architecture. The temple's design incorporates elements that are reminiscent of the biblical description of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, hence the name.The temple complex includes a large sanctuary, prayer halls, administrative buildings, and gardens. It's not only a place of worship but also a cultural and architectural attraction in the region, drawing visitors and tourists interested in exploring the unique architecture and learning about the local religious and cultural heritage.

All Mizo Christians believe in Jesus Christ. It's just the concept of statues that the protestants do not believe in (this is general even worldwide), and it's actually only the Catholics who have statues. You'll hardly find any statue or picture in most of the churches :) Great to have you over. Do visit again during fall, i can guarantee you're gonna fall head over heels with the amazing sunsets😀❤

Mizoram is overall very clean

Durtlang leitan atanga bazar chu 400 chuan a to deuh lawm .chhuk hlir nia . Leitan atangin ka hmanga kulikawn khawikha dawr thleng rs 500 min charge. Bazaar 400 chu to deuh lom 300 vel nise awm

Mizoram region is the last hope for northeastern🙏 other northeast region it's just like mainland indian thing! Occupied by bengali, bihari, nepali, etc not aesthetic again, just dirty and chaos!

@@unclekumars8246 yes someday , population in mainland is exploding,mostly low literacy ,low standard of living , slums , low scope for employment , no works ,high inequality,no land etc. feels like our great nation is in serious crisis .
Use only two wheeler taxi....even mizo local don't want to use car taxi because its overprice, only in emergency they use 4 wheel.......two wheeler taxi is easy, cheap and in trafic jam also its better than 4 wheel taxi.....in 2 wheeler taxi only around rs40, rs50 depend on where you want to go

Madam you should visit churches if you have time...then you should also visit places like: *Lalsavunga Park, Hlimen *Science Centre,Babutlang,Zemebawk *Zoological Park *Reiek Peak (before reaching the Reiek Village there's a lovely place called Ailawng Park, I hope you will be able to see and feel the beauty of the nature and there's a cave called Khuangchera Puk in Ailawng Village, it's easy and very fun, you should surely visit) *then in the different direction you can visit Hmuifang Peak, Sialsuk Tlang, Thenzawl Dilpui, Thenzawl Golf Course*
The meaning of the Taxi driver's name,you asked Rammuana means,"Ram is Land, Muan is Peace.

thank you for your visit sister... i think you see the difference of Mizoram from other neighbouring states as most of us are Christians and and very different by looks as well... you are right by pointing out that livelihood in Aizawl was expensive and yes, one reason is because mostly everything is imported form outside but no one will try to scam you because you're from somewhere else, bargaining is merely practised in Aizawl...

Only Catholic keep statue of Jesus Christ in the church, most of churches in mizoram other than Catholic never keep statue in the Church but that dont mean that we are not believer of Jesus.. We all are Christian.... And one thing the seed you look at the market was seed of stink bean, mizo favourite food.. Thanks for your vlog in mizoram...

We mizo also find Secondhand bazar too expensive 😂 And most vendors are women cause men here are doing tougher jobs that includes carrying weights. They are workings in construction, driving maxi cab and bus. Etc.
