I went to school there back in 88. I want to cry looking at this mess. When I close my eyes I can see it like it was back then. It was beautiful inside. We had Art, Photography,, dance, journallism, sewing, wood shop. It was a magnet school. You had to maintain a certain GPA to stay in the school. When I seen the auditorium, I was like omg. It's just sad they could have invested the money to fix it. And not put money in another school 😭

I am a music teacher at Central VPA. The first class room you went into was mine from 2000 until we moved in 2004. I’ve never seen it since we moved. No other video explorers have went into it. Thanks for showing it.

@@angelabutcher3970 Elgin Bokari Class of 2005 That central staircase leads to the art room on the top floor; I say you all thought it was ceramics. It was actually visual arts. Bill Perry was the teacher. We left that building in 2004

The big room on the highest floor was the art room.

Back in 88. Cafeteria, journalism, photography was in the basement.. I believe the dance was on first floor. Art was on top floor. Yes we had a lot of classes. Because the school held 100s. Of kids. Home eck was on 1st floor.. again I just wasn't to cry looking at it
