A fan from across the pond with a bloodline and roots in the Uk ! I too was shocked that Robin was ill ! I can not tell you the joy snd peace theses gentle , tasteful and historic landscapes and villages give me and Robins voice and presentation is both comforting , familiar snd tastefully done I fry myself wondering where he had gone. Thank heavens he’s back ! It’s a pleasure in this fast paced and “ loud “ and tacky age of some many presentations to find something and someone so refined and classic ! 👍👍👍👍❗️❤️
New Hampshire, USA. Lakes Region. Love these shows. Glad you are well, Robin!

Oh,for Joy, you are back!! I missed you something fierce. Sundays were not the same. To fill the time of waiting, i watched your older videos, plenty to choose from. You are looking well, a tad pale in the cold wind , but your voice is as rich and mellow and strong as ever . i am glad you had the winter months to recuperate by the fire with your doggies beside you. The tour of the village was charming and I especially lenjoyed the scene of you walking past the border of daffodills in bloom , nodding thier heads. in the wind.. ❤️ from NWWA🇺🇸, where spring has arrived, sunny but still very chilly. 🌲
nice to see you back again, Robin. Missed your videos, and your tours around the Cotswolds. Looking forward to seeing more.

I second that! Sorry to understand how poorly you have been, you were sorely missed. 😘 Thankfully you are up and about on your lovely excursions again.Do take it easy Mr Robin, we so enjoy these lovely films, thank you very much.🙏🏻💐
Hey Robin and the gang. Just wanted to say how nice it is to hear about random houses in the village and not just the church and possible pub. Hope you do this for more villages and towns moving forward. Love the content!
These videos are exceptional. Thank you for sharing and Cheers from the USA.
Great to see you are feeling better, happy to see you again
A delightful small village, which must have been something of a tonic to visit. Hearing that list of 'alterations' to the church interior, made me fear the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised at what looked like a sensitive piece of restoration to a beautiful medieval church. Thank you.
Lovely to have you back. You look very well!
Ross gizmo Robin fantastic videos Cotswolds England ❤ love them well done

Ooohhh wonderful
So glad to see you back Robin, Thank you for posting another brilliant video.
Swalcliffe is pronounced "Swaycliff". Enjoying the tours.
Another fantastic video I can work to! Thank you, Robin, for yet another informative and beautiful excursion!
It is good to have you back doing your favourite pastime. My Mother and I would watch your ambles through Gloucestershire whilst having lunch. Mum loved the country, having lived, until she was ten, in the cottage next to the bottling house at Holywell Malvern. Unfortunately she was promoted to Spirit in May having just clicked over to 98. Now I watch and remember the good times. Thank you Robin.
It's very nice to see this village. And the church is quite interesting. Thank you so very much.
Fabulous episode
Ross, could you please scan a little slower, the village architecture is wonderful to look at. The research is excellent. I wonder if there is a tour company that would follow in your footsteps. I had a short trip around Wells, Glastonbury and other places associated with Eleanor of Aquitaine. England outside the cities, is so beautiful. Great to have you guys back. From Ireland 🇮🇪
So good to see you back!
Wonderful video Robin.
😊
Ee are so pleased you are better and We really look forward to your blogs. Always beautiful and entertaining. Have you any information on the church at Little Rollright? I think it's called St Patrick's.

We have just purchased your new book and are looking forward to visiting many of the areas. Our daughter us getting married at St Philips Church Little Rollright next spring. Such a beautiful spot. We are really looking forward to it. 😊
To your health 🍻
You have done Banbury Tadmarton and Swalcliffe but what about the Sibfords and find out where Gower and Ferris come from.
Hearth tax?

The govt tried to find different ways to tax the wealthier populace without introducing an income tax. The hearth tax was applied on houses with more than 3 fireplaces. The chimney tax was pretty much the same thing. Then came the window tax - also a popular way to tax the better-off in mainland Europe (not sure who came up with it first).

Actually it's called St Philips! Sorry. 😊
Swalcliffe is pronounced Swaycliffe.
