Exploring South America’s greatest biodiversity: the Pantanal | SLICE
The world’s largest wetland Pantanal extends over 190,000 square kilometres and hosts one of the richest biodiversity on the planet. The diversity of the natural habitats is such that the Pantanal shelters an infinite number of species, such as caimans or jaguars.
Ailton Lara, a local tour guide who grew up in the region, gives an immersive and educational tour around the natural habitats of the wildlife. The participants of the tour can sight the exotic animals listed above, as well as fish the ferocious piranhas living in the water of Pantanal.
