0:45 For those who are interested in the topic of polygonal masonry. A number of methods for obtaining the polygonal masonry are proposed. The basis of the proposed methods is the use of clay/gypsum replicas, reduced clay models of stone blocks and a 3D-pantograph, as well as a topography translator. The results are presented in the article: “Fabrication methods of the polygonal masonry of large tightly fitted stone blocks with curved surface interfaces in megalithic structures of Peru” (DOI: 10.20944/preprints202108.0087.v5).

A few reasons, the tradition Inca Trail has gotten a ton of coverage. I've hiked the Inca trail, and it's amazing. But we wanted to show off more than the most famous trail. So we were doing the Lares trek, which takes us through the amazing sites surrounding Machu Picchu that gets much less publicity. The Lares trek also doesn't end at Machu Picchu, so therefore, the train. Most people don't know about the other areas, so we focused our time on that.

I LOVE your videos and have learned a great deal about things like pooping in the woods, etc. But the new level of quality feels like the mission of the channel is changing from Backpacking to Travel Vlogging. Not a bad switch, but it feels less backpacking TV now. Don't get me wrong, it's cool and I can tell a TON of work has gone into these new vids.

Hey Bobby, glad you're a fan of the videos. The mission of the channel remains the same, explore the world's best trails, while educating, inspiring, and showing off a holistic view of the destinations that includes local culture and nuances. There will still be plenty of videos that are strictly backpacking tips, gear reviews, etc. Each video and destination will have it's own flavor and style. I wouldn't say that we've changed from backpacking, that's still very much at the core of what we're aiming for. But we are trying to tell full stories around the backpacking, and that's just a bigger scope.
