OTG's North State Adventure
Come along with the OTG crew as we set out on a rather grandiose overland adventure into the Klamath-Siskiyou ecoregion that straddles the California-Oregon Adventure. Over the better course of a week, we'll rack up nearly 700 miles of backcountry exploration along some of our favorite OTG Routes like the Steelhead Adventure Trail, Wild Rivers Discovery Trail, and the newly minted Siskiyou Crest Adventure Trail (summer 2023).
Part 2: Wild Rivers Discovery Trail
Part two (days 3-5) takes Ben and Andreas across the the border into southwestern Oregon to take on the Wild Rivers Discovery Trail, a 230 mile track through the western portion of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest.

Ain't nothin like Oregon. I live a couple hours north of here, and have often seen views like these. It's achingly beautiful for this Texas boy.

My home turf. There's some great 4x4ing and swimming to be had up Hunter Creek (just south of Gold Beach)... and from up there you can hook into Pistol River, the Chetco or the Rogue. Way cool. One of our favorite swim spots is where the Illinois dumps into the Rogue. Big Rock is there and perfect for jumping or diving into the Illinois. Thanks for taking us on your adventure

Sometimes the best part about not the best weather is less people are out there. As always cool video of your adventure.

Just found the last couple of episodes on this. You were driving through my back yard. I ride these roads on 2 wheels, but just bought a Jeep, so have started watching some overland videos. Nice job! I'll have to figure out what these named trails are. Never heard of them, but recognized most of the roads in your video. (Never mind, I found your website and joined).

iDK, that fire three years ago turned that area into a moonscape. Not very pretty to me.
